@@PurelyAquatic I’ve been in this hobby for a few years. My current tank is mainly sps with a few lps. My flow is never that low and I haven’t lost even one sps in 10 - 12 years now. I have a 4’ tank with 2 Nero 5’s that ramp continuously from 100% to 50%. I also have orbit 4 that runs at 100% all day, at night it turns down to 60%. Most people don’t realize just how much flow sps need to thrive. Just my opinion
@@KentuckyReef I have to find a balance in flow since sand will blow around and the softies will not like it. If it was a sps only tank for sure the flow would be much higher at all time.

Not sure about your parameters but I would say that you need more flow for your sps.
The gyre ramps up throughout the day with the light getting more intense. It was only at ~20% when filming.
