Imagine the current owner being interviewed with our manager, this seems incomprehensible now
The world didn’t use social media fir mob/vigilante justice then
I always remember deadline day where Arteta walked in to Goodison and a Sky reporter asked him if he was leaving, then one of Everton security staff said ''oh Mikel you're not are ya?!''. Mikel just looked at him and kept walking.
Same!!!
Moyesy has aged like 50 years since then
Mikel’s hair line hasn’t changed a bit lol.
Now Mikel just helped everton stay in the premier league 🎉
Where’s the Arteta money, Bill?
been spent on Michael Keane and sidibe
Where’s the Gordon money?
Been spent on Micheal ball boys! Not our old left back btw!
Have you seen his new swimming pool
Where's the Richarlison money Bill? 🤔
Arsenal fans were a bit indifferent this signing I recall...It only shows the ability of Wenger to identify players with great character and intelligence.
This was because he was Fabregas's replacement, we were disappointed because he wasn't on cesc's level. But he did turn out to be a great servant for the club, and an even better manager
@@killabuddha88 I remember actually quite liking the signing, i'd had a lot of exposure to him and Tim Cahill because my best mate is an Evertonian so I knew he was quality
Loved him at Everton.
Nice cut off in the end
Funnily enough, "dévasté" is the French word for devastated! Not sure why Kenwright decided to suddenly switch into French for one word at the end of a sentence but he's made plenty of strange decisions recently.
Everyone loves Mikel
The greatest signing of the emirates era because whoever he ended up going to didn’t know they had a generational manager in the making.
Big up Everton on the win, we deserved that loss - hopefully it wakes our boys up and keeps them on their toes and I hope you stay up. Dyche is the perfect man for your current squad. That midfield set up will give any team problems I can almost guarantee it.
Onana was rock solid that game and I want to see him at Arsenal
It set so much things in motion
Would be great if the chairman (although he isn’t well) was able to appear in public again alongside a manger. Those were the days.
The "fans" wouldn't allow him to even attend an Everton game in his final 18 months.
Little did Bill know that at this time Fergie was tapping up Moyes to replace him in 18 months later.
Thx for sharing
This was in the days before someone blew up Bill Kenwright with a foot pump.
I really miss goals on sunday
Maybe Arteta would be Everton Manager one day. Taking Evertonians to top4 would be so great!
As an Arsenal fan. Hope he doesn't but you lot deserve a manager like him after years of pain.
@@kidkaka1787 Mate, lets hope you got your EPL title and we stay in EPL
You can not have him, but i hope you stay up its a crime what is happening to your Club.
Never say never toffees.
@@coybcoyb5096 yes definitely would hate to see Everton relegate. You're an EPL team with alot of history and been here for a long time just like Arsenal. I hope teams like City and Chelsea get slapped with huge fines and get demoted to league 4
Wow David Moyes looks so young there
He was still in his 40s. Most people age in their 40s but he always kept himself in good shape so did OK to fight off. But his 50s came for him hard.
Darren Farley brought me here😀😀😀
Arteta looks identical to now lmao
David Moyes has aged about 20 years
Basque dont crack
@@WeeleyTubeMoyes looks good for his age compared to other Scots
@@SK-kh2rs What, like rab c nesbitt 😅
Not a clip about ronaldo to saudi?
Ever the lovey Bill, should have stayed at coronation street
It was devastating
Look at the smile when he asks him the question.
Smug kite on kenwright saying it hurts. Behave. 20 odd million doesnt in ye back pocket doesnt hurt 😂
I think he went for only about £12 million. Very good deal for Arsenal.
8 million it was
Bill likes the limelight.
That's theatre guys for you
Blue bill at his best ere .. Jedi mind tricks
Fs! How much does it hurt fellas! Moyes'y talking about us getting into the champions league 🤒
We’re’s the money for arteta bill?
R.I.P Sir
Why did you let him go!
He wanted to go.
Even took a pay cut
Was still in his prime, had the opportunity to play for a mega club, wanted to do it before it was too late.
@@kwandangubane9419 Hi W, I was unaware of that, but I’d like to think they pushed the boat out, to try & get him to stay!
@@keynesianeconomics4113 Hi K, I’d like to think that they tried their best to persuade him to stay. In the 60’s & early 70’s we were a mega club!
Don’t believe a word out of that actors mouth
Christ being an Everton fan must be awful!!
The Premier League glory days for Everton under those 2.
0:21 Narcissism in the flesh
Why?
Wheres the arteta money bills good times
Don't see enough of this attitude anymore. I feel like all I see these days are fallings out between players and managers and cases of "oh he's got no loyalty to the club he left he just wants money we hate him now"
Broke my heart. The Alan Ball moment of my era
BILL KENWRIGHT GET OUT OF OUR CLUB
Come back Moyes 💙💙
That's how bad it's got
Arteta took a pay cut to go to Arsenal.
Good one.
Everton pay higher wages than arsenal. Hahaha ok mate
@@Cosmic-Wanderer he actually did believe it or not
@@DustyFC be something in it for him believe.
@@Cosmic-Wanderer I don't know if you're too young to remember, but Arteta was THE player at Everton. He wasn't some squad player.
He definitely was THEE player. And now hes THEE manager, despite losing to his former club today lol
Kenwright should be on the stage. The landing stage at the pier head ,then on the next ship out the city as far away from Everton FC as possible, fraud
sky sports retro have been using black magic for a long time now
Ken you live in London why would he live in Liverpool, Players have to look after themselves Moyes never a man manger with top players He blew it at United
to be fair arteta was never really a top player. Would not have gotten in any titel winning sides and went to a rapidly declining arsenal side.
@@harrismazari5484 I agree, yet better than wasting away with dithering Dave ,,, Dyche seems the man,,,,
@@kingarthurusatenniscoach1415 what are you on about? what has dyches got to do with this story?
@@harrismazari5484 Dyche will take Everton all the way Dithering Dave as the fans knew him failed
@@kingarthurusatenniscoach1415 what has that got to do with arteta not being a top player?
Jackanory Bill! You wanted to pocket the money and left it too late to spend it on purpose. Just another time you let us all down. Just like when you knew Moyes was leaving to join old Whisky nose.
Why are other teams fans so obsessed with everton.
Because they care or don't care what's going on with us
because they never been relegated maybe
They're not. Pundits are though, because they might go down.
Joke Arteta
Kissed his badge in the cup against us at the emirates 2 months later
Hope city win the league
Both championing mediocrities, we won nothing
It's a shame BILL'S Legacy is tainted, and it is.
As good a player Arteta was that last season wasn't his best and was never the same player at Arsenal
Kenwright can’t keep any decent players at Everton ? Why it don’t make sense , even when they’ve got money they haemorage great players to other teams ,and wonder why they’re struggling, . Moyes had to sell to buy all his 11 years at Everton , and frankly when your doing that your going nowhere.!!!
Yet he still did a pretty good job with them
@@billyconnolli8224 moyes did a brilliant job , with what he had to deal with , pity he went to Man U .
That was painful 🤦🏻♂️
