Interior Designer here - try 3 boxes on the bottom row and on the top row you could put some coffee table books stacked horizontally with a little trinket or decor object on top. Maybe in one of the top recesses you could find a wide and short decor bowl :)
also try a plant on the top such as a marble pothos or philodendron 'hanging plant'. they don't need a lot of attention and they grow so you can trail along the top of the unit

I definitely agree with the comment about it getting colder in Sydney..I flew back there at the end of my trip having been there previously end of March and HECK I was chilly (I’m now back in the UK and wowsers I’m extremely chilly now 🥶)
Off to the shops you go again. Get a throw that fits that lounge or a multiple of throws that will fit and ones that are made of a material that doesn't shed and is machine washable. Good luck.😊✌️

I really like this apartment! I like the “older” traditional look to it vs the modern apartments there are
I suggest you look at Vinnies before you spend a small fortune getting things delivered from the UK. Also, winter clothing for UK weather will be too hot for Sydney's winter. I suggest layering rather than bulky coats.

You can get a vase with flowers and some books...aur decorative piece....statue something like that..

I think suitcase lengths are typically measured diagonally? Like TV’s. But if it says otherwise on the company your using to ship it then all good! Also that blazer looks SO good on you! xx

How deep is it as well, would you be able to put two boxes in the same ‘compartment’ 90° to how they are oriented now and fill the left over space with any books?
Yes I think two in one compartment would fit!
Your tv unit just needs some plants next to the tv and they’ll get lots of light by the window!
If it was me I would be sticking little photos and prints on the boxes!! ☀️
Do NOT risk putting the blanket in the machine. I had a bright red one that got spilled on so I decided to take the risk as the blanket was destroyed anyway.. Well.. the shedding filled my machine in every available space, and I had to buy a new blanket and a new machine afterwards..

Shoe racks belong in a bedroom not out in the open room areas!!!!
