- The episode kicks off with Jose describing the bait fish's struggle against predators like pelicans, only to be netted and transported miles offshore. Experience the thrill of the catch as Jose and his guest Dave Pfieffer from Shimano face off against hungry kingfish, elusive tuna, and even an opportunistic dolphin. Watch the intense battles unfold as fish fight for their lives, showcasing the ocean's brutal cycle of predator and prey. Jose also shares expert fishing tips, demonstrating how to jig for kingfish and use top-water plugs for the most exhilarating strikes.
Marvel at the dramatic underwater footage and high-flying action as kingfish skyrocket out of the water, aiming to slash and devour their prey. The episode is packed with heart-pounding moments, stunning visuals, and the harsh reminder that in the ocean, it's eat or be eaten.
Don't miss this exciting episode of Spanish Fly, where the beauty and cruelty of the ocean come alive. Tune in to learn, enjoy, and appreciate the relentless spirit of marine life.

Love it! On of my favorite shows growing up as a kid
i saw Jose at 2000 boat show in Miami , i bought a 32' seacraft , at the time he also had switched from 27' conch to the 32' seacraft , the seacraft was a great boat , i put 11,250 miles on it over 5 years , hurricane Wilma put and end to my dream boat , sank at the dock R.I.P.
Does anyone still make a big no frills CC? They have become so leisure focused....and with that, the prices are insane and fishability isnt as good.
