With a barrel that long it gives you the option to either shoot or poke your target, plus the size of the cylinder allows you to refill your Zeppelin when it runs flat.
I bought one in .22 a few months back. I really like it... But... It is a little industrial in construction and needed plenty of bedding in. The barrel needed a couple of tins through it and a light clean before full performance was reached. The valve on the filling port/bottle, not sure which, is prone to sticking but again with use seems to have sorted itself out. Overall good value, and is the 3rd Hatsan I have bought.

Great rifle, the only problem I have with mine is the adjustable length stock is a bit wobbly.... oh, and the case limits the size of scope you can fit, if you want to still use it...

As someone who owns the all black version of this air rifle, I was pleased by your review 👍 I found your experience pretty much echoed mine and yes, the performance and accuracy improved with each shot! While considered a budget airgun, I couldn't be happier with mine and use it for both fun/plinking, targets and pest control 👍👌😁
Just a small update from my last post; I recently purchased a gun calibration rest and after zeroing my digital scope in, I fired about a hundred rounds at static targets and the accuracy was INCREDIBLE! It was consistently hitting within 5-10mm (around 1/4 to 3/8 inch) at range without fliers! I could, have and did shoot the firing caps out of used shotgun cartridges at the same range and yes, as previously mentioned, I have used this tool for pest control. I know some people have had problems with this particular model, but I have had none of those, the original accuracy did improve as I ran a couple of tins through it, but I have come to accept this with all airguns I have purchased, so I was quite happy to do this. All in all, I love the Hatsan Factor and would happilly reccomend this airgun to others!
Thanks Andy! I just received mine. I added a Hawke 3-9x40 AO mil dot scope and a bipod (Looks to be the same one you used in your test footage). I am very happy with it. Thanks again for all you do!

So much gun for such a good price! I've had a couple of Hatsan's and they have been reasonable for the money. The quatro trigger is great and works well. Not sure about the overall length of this one, especially if you stick a silencer on the end. I think it would make a good 'hide' gun for the pigeons though what with the huge shot count etc... Great review once again Andy, cheers and keep safe pal.
It's good to see someone is producing rifles at reasonable prices, and not following this bullpup trend. Andy didn't mention the price of the carbon bottle, just it was available? But for the price that would give a lot of pleasure down the range, and could show the flash Harry's with their FXs a thing or two.
Thanks for the review. Hopefully the next gen will have a barrel band, no barrel droop, and be able to get closer to what the Avenger is currently capable of doing in regards to group size at 40m. What precision and accuracy can you achieve by single shot rather than clip? The bolt probe usually dings the pellet skirts on these cheaper rifles if you utilize a magazine.

Surely this should give some of the upmarket "trendy" manufacturers pause for thought. You can readily pay nearly 3 times this price for a similar style of rifle and still have reliability issues if some of the owner reviews are anything to go by.
I’ve had quite a few problems. Mine is now back in the shop for the fifth time. trigger issues and filler port. apart from that, it’s a cracking rifle.
Hatsan put all the goodies on this rifle and then don't put in a regulator (something I'd want with a choke). If there's one criticism I have for your reviews it's that lack of spread figures. A good spread = better repeatability. So please can you start to include them Andy. Admittedly this monster isn't likely to wimp out over the course of a tin, but if pellets are unsized then a choke can bite into the spread.

What height are those scope mounts and does the large mag get in the way of lowering the scope and further? Otherwise, a nice looking and functioning rifle.
I've got this very rifle and its got a hawke 3 x9 x40 on normal mounts! The sight doesn't touch the mags at all. If like me you're a big lad, high mounts might be better as the top rail to cheek rest distance is low! Not a detrimental point ,just better for comfort! Definitely needs some lead before it settles down,
I like this rifle, but I am put off buying it by the exposed barrel, if they sold an upgrade kit with full enclosed barrel with rails like the Sig MCX I would swap my Rotex for one

I can't imagine how much time and money this consumes, this public service you provide, but I know you wouldn't do it if it didn't at least pay you back with pride and satisfaction. If there's one criticism I have for your reviews it's that lack of spread figures. A good spread = better repeatability. So please can you start to include them Andy.
Admittedly this monster isn't likely to wimp out over the course of a tin, but if pellets are unsized then a choke can bite into the spread.
The mag would be fantastic in a barn full of feral pigeons, my single shot Daystate can be hard work by the time you’ve shot 100! This has to be Bargain of the Century!
I think we need to stop labelling these guns as budget rifles, maybe everything over £750 should be referred to as expensive guns.
Agreed budget means about half this price
Exactly my thoughts
FACTS!👍👍👍👍👍
Its budget to him who has a large northern house with a garden nearly the size of a small activity center like pgl windmill hill .He did not make his money from selling air guns and doing these videos where he admits he gets very little .Probably engineer , inheritance ,but knowing very little world things like believing in a buying into the worlds deadliest plague , solar panels which are very toxic to produce and recently admitting to electric cars not being that good for the planet .He's like a BBC Air gun presenter , for which he took as a compliment lol.
Agreed
Great one thanks! Was waiting for a good review of this remarkable and affordable air gun :-)
Would like to see a comparison with the Walther rotex RM8 UC. In price alone it's a competitor..
So difficult to decide which one is ideal for my first PCP. Love your channel and reviews.
Would love one of these but SWMBO has already told me that I don't need one! We'll see - maybe. As always a great review - keep it up, it's what Friday is all about.
Go on buy one ? You know you want one lol... Tell her it's half price in a sale 😂🤞🤞🍀
The magazine remind me of the sights on the guns that the bad guys used to have in the man from U.N.C.L.E. LOL
Gone are the days of the Briton mk1 Gat My very first Gun You used to push the front of the barrel down on the floor to cock it lol not very powerful but great fun back in the 80's
Just put a deposit on one at my local shop. Roll on payday lol. Cheers for the review squire.
Hi sir have a question that airgun can't you chipping other countries
Love your reviews but why are so many air rifles got the AR look I prefer a nice bit of wood or a nice synthetic stock like the BSA R10
Nice video and this rifle I never get tired of I have it in 6.35 it's very good for the price
I suspect it's intended more for FAC levels of power. The length and shot count are probably overkill for UK sub-12ftlbs.
M-E-G-A O V E R K I L L!
Nice rig but don’t care much for the looks of the bottle. Easily fixed with a clip on cover that makes it looks authentic. Send that to Hatsan Andrew!
Is it regulated? Carbon tank and a CZ barrel that would rock
Greetings from Down Under.
The problem is ( here in the US) reviews from Hatsan owners is that you get no customer service and quality has been an issue with Hatsan
My experience was good for about three or four rounds of pellets. After that the gun start losing air somewhere by the trigger, cannot charge anymore.
I found the valve on the bottle/filling port not sure which is prone to sticking. Usually clears if I attempt to refill a couple of times. I suspect it needs bedding in same as much of the gun.
I HAVE SIMILAR PROBLEM. SOMETIMES LEAKS AIR AND SOMETIMES NOT. FRUSTRATING BECAUSE CHECKED ALL SEALS, USED BALLOONS ON FILLER PROBE, MANOMETER ETC. EVEN USED SOAPY WATER !! BUT RIFLE I LOVE IT. ANY ADVICE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
Hi Andy! I've been watching your videos for quite a while now and I got a gen 4 Glock using your reviews. Is there any chance you could do a review on the KLI baby yaga combat master co2 blowback bb pistol? There don't seem to be any good reviews on it and it would help me a lot.
Thanks, moe
You've sold it to me, thanks
Now i like this!!👍
Love your channel
Looks interesting. But what is the max size slug/pellet will it take?
I've seen the .177, .22 and .25.
I don't believe the .25 would be viable in the UK unless it was an FAC gun though
@@GaisaSanktejo I should have sed length of pellet/slugs. Stupid me 🤣
@@LordAn0bis I depth checked the magazine and its about 10mm...
I doubt the sub12 version of the airgun would cope with heavier slugs, but a quick search shows the FAC versions are about 36-40 ft/lb's and should work fine with heavier slugs/bullets
@@GaisaSanktejo thanks for the info😊👍
So, instead of counting sheep,we count pellets... have you fallen asleep while loading the mag🤣🤣
Man this is another exact and enjoyable review from my man Andy! Love the look of this one and I'm NOT a "bottle gun" lover by any means. I'm not sure if its the color or what but this rifle is sharp looking!
Like the Video. Maybe next time review a Kral when reviewing a budget pcp.
Thats a very nice gun, it may have liked a lighter pellet. 👍😎👍
your reviewof the Sentry , which had a regulator - seemed to show more value for the money , in the same range ?
Can it be tuned or is it another disappointment like all uk spec fx? At 11.7 ftlb I'm surprised it managed to break the paper target
Bob Ross of airguns
the hatsan factor or the Benjamin Gunnar? Im stuck between the two.
Great review and probably my perfect purchase.
This one looks nice😎 I've wanted hatsan blitz for couple years now but ammo prices kinda steer me other way especially after smg22 malfunctions going off when it jammed& I put safety on then went to set it down then brrrratttt 4rounds went off towards neighbors house😡💩 that one jammed to much so I trade it in for dragonclaw single shot. 50cal you only need one shot if your decent shot. This one r 22 version I'd like to try someday😎🤘
Hi don’t mind me asking what best small pcp rifle
That looks like a fun bit of kit but I'm betting I can't have one in Australia. It certainly wouldn't be worth the hassle if so :(
When you buy a new pcp does it come pre charged
wow looks really cool hmm i maybe have to get one :)
Hmm nice but I still think I would choose a Gamo GX40. I love the added range time your filming these days, nice addition to the reviews mate. ATB MMMD
have had some issues with various guns from FX (nightmare) to hatsan (on my 3rd repair/exchange).....im curious, how often do you run into a gun that simply wont group. What do you do when it wont group (cleaning/borepaste/more pellets/polishing paste) etc.....assuming its not a shooter/scope/mount/rail issue
My only complaint is the FDE finish does mark when you fit anything to the rails. So it's not the most robust finish
Same goes with the black, I'm serously thinking about spraying it with a protective matte clear laquer
@@GaisaSanktejo I wanted black but fde was the only one I could get.. Pleased thou
@@RogueBrit I managed to get the black version (didn't care for fde) and am pleased too, though as you mentioned, the paint finish marks way too easily, hence my idea of using a protective matte laquer
Very nice 👌 👍
isnt there a bullpup version of this ??
Were they in the 500 to 600 price range months ago all i can find is $999 us
Andy, thank you, and your mates (they call their friends "mates") involved in helping you, thanks, from across the pond, for offering me valuable guidance in my entrance to this hobby. On top of the knowledge, because you are so charismatic, charming, apparently intelligent, funny, apparently-reasonably law-abiding and fastidious to detail, and able to keep comments a safe distance from politics without scolding viewers, it lends the entire hobby an elevated air of legitimacy. I can't imagine how much time and money this consumes, this public service you provide, but I know you wouldn't do it if it didn't at least pay you back with pride and satisfaction. You are obviously a steward of the hobby. It just kills me that your nation restricts you so tightly in energy. Between you and me, given how responsible and competent you are, in my opinion it would not be that unethical for you when the camera is off to accidentally indulge in a few more foot pounds, off the record. Cheers.
@William Tell I hope you at least say cheers, don't you? Just some friendly irreverence, pardon me, of course neither all Brits nor all Americans use the same anything including terminology. Fortunately for me at least, when learning from this channel, I believe we still are on the same page when it comes to the foot and the pound.
@@DougSimmonsYay we use newton meters (i think) but so many manuals and documents etc are in foot pounds like when torquing car parts n stuff that its hard to say if we have a definite measurment
@@DougSimmonsYay also yes its sad we are so restricted ):
Hey Andy, taking a long shot here with asking this considering this video was released four months ago. I've asked the company that I purchased this rifle from and they haven't replied to me nor can I find an answer from the users manual. Please tell me how I should remove the magazine after shooting, I've pulled cocking lever back and this releases the magazine but then you have a hammer under tension and a gun that is loaded without a bullet. Do I now dry fire the gun or store the gun with the spring and inherently hammer under tension? You seem like a chap who would know the answer if anyone. An answer would marvelous. P.S greetings from Finland🇫🇮
10:27 I think you killed a few bunnies with that one! lol.
One of the few i like be nice if you could get in say .25 or .30
