I love your videos Sam you work hard and always think about the kids and Angela. It’s important when raising a family and you realize each person has needs to you can fulfill.
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot my password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
@Lucas Sage i really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Great work guys. I've never used a trencher before but watching you really helped make it look less intimidating. The electrical is looking good. I hope you had enough room to close that wall up when you were done! See you around :)
Looking good and I am so excited to see the soap shed inside after you get it all electrified and set up........what an asset that is going to be for many reasons and in many ways. You all have done a fantastic job on everything you do. Blessings
So glad you clarified that this is not a "How to" video & that you're not a Pro. because, I saw you doing so many things wrong!! I mean who uses tools?? I just lick my fingers & twist the wires together... Bing Bang Boom it's all done. Let's see how many ppl. misread this comment. Hoping all is well guys, Dirty Jersey out!!
We may share a video like that for channel members (like you already are 😁), but don’t have plans for anything like a “how to” for the public at large. Too much work and research into proper recipes and techniques to give away to just anyone. 😎
This series is one of my all-time favorites. So happy Angela has her own workspace for her business, and there is more usable space in your home. The move-in video showed us just how much room the soap-making supplies take up. WOW!! 😳 What are you going to do with the wooden curing racks Sam made? Hope they can be used somewhere. Will you be installing some wall-mounted shelving in the new Soap Shed? Congrats on another completed project! 👍😍
Awesome video!!!! I have been anticipating your next video, lol. We love you guys and your videos. We have stopped doing videos due to health and other issues for awhile. But we will be turning with videos soon. We have lots to share! Anyway, sorry for the “squirrel “ moment, lol. Thank you so much for your videos! Love from Ohio 💚🌱🌸🌲🌻🪛🔌
Shades of Jon lol I’m dying roflmbo. I miss him and I know why he isn’t doing videos but I do. If you starts saying holy crap that’s good coffee it’ll be over for me. Feral helper children awesome. That’s exactly what I need to do run wire, but I’m not needing to run a new service. Trencher and the rest and waterline.
That's funny. Here if a homeowner calls to lo locate buried lines they just tell you if you cut it they will fix it for you. I cut an internet line in two places with a ditch witch and they came right out and fixed it. Now we have fiber right to the house and they said the same thing.
Thank you for the informative video! I know you say you guys are not experts, but I am still learning from your videos. Is that trencher/digger thing yours or did you rent it??
Great video I am planning on running electricity to my shed but my question is how much service amps do I need going into my main panel to do so thanks
The hubs has to do this come Spring. Now I see renting a trencher is the way to go. Oh, and "when at home go big". I'll remember to tell him...especially since I want lots of outlets so I don't have to run extension cords everywhere. ......plus I'll want internet and cable television....you know, just the necessities.
Just curious if mounting metal breaker box such as this one is OK. A/c has metal pull out or breaker by condenser when servicing unit is acceptable but not sure about this set up. Maybe a certified electrician could verify this.
Hi Sam. We love to watch you and your family on utub. We need help. My husband wants to put a 50 amp sub panel in a shop we have. He has a 6/ 3 wire that was previously run to a central heater. We have done away with it. Can this be done? We are having trouble finding a sub panel that we can add lights and outlets and air compressor to.
If you plan on wiring up a shed, shop, or out building, I encourage you to consider these points while your trench is open: 1) size the condiut for 200 amps (1 1/4 or 1 1/2 inch). You could put in one circuit (3 number 14 wires to a 200 Amp service) to supply what power you need now or in future. Your building could be an office, a yoga studio, or full blown work center without re-digging your trench. 2) extra pipes in your trench. Some 3/4 or 1 inch while your trench is open. A data connection from your house to your shop? A cable tv connection for your waiting room? Security cameras connected to your home server? A "dinner bell" or flashing light for emergencies. An emergency in your shed might need a light in your house and a noisy shop might need a flashing light for emergencies? Whatever else you might need? If the pipe is added whit the trench open, zero redigging. Just meet or exceed any depth requirements.
@rashellyohn5128 0 seconds ago Thank you for this video. I really need help! I have this pump that had 10 gauge 3 hot wires and a ground coming from my panel . 2 hots and the ground were directly contacted to the pump while the 3rd hot was wire nutted off to the side. I have since added a sun panel with( 2) 15 amp double pole breakers in hopes to split the power of one double pole breaker to add a 110amp outlet. Only thing is there is no neutral wire. I got the pump working off the 2 double 15 amps but the gfci only the green light came on but had no power to light the heat lamp. Could I add a metal stake into the ground , run a ground to the bus bar then run a wire to the bus bar to the gfci as my neutral wire. The ground is connected to ground screw of sub panel and also the ground wire that was originally connect to pump is also connect to ground screw. Thank you for your help. At this point I’m not worried about code as I am keep the pump from freezing.
Technically, the connector you attached to the pvc female inside the building in a violation. That fitting is not designed, tested, or listed for multiple NM cables as you installed. You could have left it off or put a box on the inside. Best wishes, Kevin

Wow Sam that was back breaking labor! Quite an adventure! I envy you both for all the hard work you put into your homestead! TFS Take care! :)
It was hard, but well worth it for Angela. (bonus points here) 😁 We were just reminiscing the other day about all we’ve done here.
Sam, you are a handy guy to have around!
Your knowledge is wonderful....love to see you work together ❤

Good evening Sam .I am amazed at the knowledge you have , how and where did you learn all this electrical stuff? I find it mindboggling watching you .
Great job Sam!
OK Sam, is there something you can’t do? I am impressed with your electrical skills!
Love you're family
Loved the video - I would love to watch a video with Angela making her awesome soap!!

Juiceness! Love your words.
That trench shovel you use is handy as heck. After seeing you use it for everything, I snagged one from lowes, too. It's great!

Pulling up that electrical line looked tough but what a nice outcome!
Great job. Keep up the great work.
We're going to be running conduit from our garage to a new greenhouse shortly. Ditch-digger is definitely the way to go!!
Great job guys
Nice job sam
Great job can’t wait for your next video.
What a fantastic machine , to dig trenches ! wow .
That was a sweet trick with the winch
Good work.

Great job👍
Really well done. Thank you!

Every place is different.
Well done good job
Did you really pound in a 6 foot copper grounding rod with a finish hammer?
A real juiceologist would have used his lineman’s.
Thank you for the informative video! I know you say you guys are not experts, but I am still learning from your videos. Is that trencher/digger thing yours or did you rent it??
He said he rented it.
To Install this I would need two 240volt circuit breakers one at the main and the other at the sub?
I think your soap shake is wonderful! Do you have a catalog?
Great video I am planning on running electricity to my shed but my question is how much service amps do I need going into my main panel to do so thanks
We only have a 100 amp service at the home. It's done fine for us.
Understood nothing except a high level of skill felt like a tutoring overview of electrical wiring of breaker boxes

Does this have to be inspected?
Hey I know I’m late to this, but what kind of breaker did you use for the power wire running from the box being piggy backed?
Mobile homes need a second grond rod 6 ft out something to think about
Our home has the two ground rods. This is a auxiliary structure using both ground rod and ground wire tying back to the home and it's two ground rods.
Its getting closer and closer to being done Angela.
Did you run cable in conduit in the ground or direct burial?
All wire is in conduit underground.
Not shocking!....and in this case, that's a good thing.
I think I would have liked to see a little more detail on the wiring.

What is a soap shed
A place to make the soap she sells.

I will imagine driving that ground rod wasn’t fun I have drove many of them usually with a sledge hammer
I thought you finished your roof??
Should’ve used THHN 😉
Look at how awesome you are😲WOW 👍

So under article 100 of nec are you a qualified person?
👍
All of my remaining bars of soap stink now. Sad!
??? Did something happen to them? Send us an email if so!!
@@sam-and-angela I don't know what happened. I've kept them in baggie until ready to use. In a cool dark cabinet.

No mention of an inspection of your wiring. Granted, not know your local codes.
Not know the NEC either.
