      Thank you! 😃 Yes business English is full of phrasal verbs. US and UK workers tend to try and soften everything to make things seem less 'transactional' and more personal, and phrasal verbs help us do that!

      You are correct 👍 "sync up" comes from "synchronise". To sync up means to meet up and all be together at the same time.

    Do you know why English is the most popular language in the world?
    I think it's because of the passion that native English speakers have for their language. Just listen to their pronunciation each letter is full of energy. And beyond that, the meanings themselves are rich with feelings and thoughts.

      Great idea! At the end of season 1 we have practice dialogues and review episodes that focus a lot on connecting words together to sound more natural, I hope those help!

    Very interesting lesson, as though I am a pensioner. I finished my work life 23 ago so is a little bit difficult for me jump on a work mode. It is for me a really far memory. I worked in a bank

    👆 emails that....... why use that? not those ? that used for singular while those used for plural ! 😅
