Its the type of vehicles that Toyota is now building. They are consuming engine oil more because of less tension on the rings in an effort to reduce friction.

Please explain to me if it's appropriate to be topping up engine oil Like what is happening with yours now, looking at the less amount of oil you top up. I want to understand this: so is normal for your oil level to drop let's to the half/middle mark when servicing is due or after traveling 5000km?
@@emmanueloseiaboagye9554 My valve seal needs changing which contribute to the oil consumption of my vehicle. Changing the value seals means I would need to change other components such as timing chain and tensioner. Since it's a 3 cylinder engine, tuning it to smooth idling can be very difficult so I decided to let it be. 1 quart of oil every 3 weeks is not a bad deal.

These newer engines consumes more engine oil than older types however with valve seal leaks it will consumes far more.
What causes this high oil consumption is it normal or it's the type of vitz engine that consumes more
