Cerakote Trim Coat. Finally something works!!

- Have you tried all sorts of brands trying to get your black trim pieces looking like new again. Some only last for a day or max a week and then it's faded. Well, I've finally bought the Cerakote applicator and so far as posting this we've had rain about 4-5 days in two weeks and it is still holding up. I think we have a winner.

Ya these wipes were the game changer for trim worth the extra not applying every time other crap dries and washes off but as an owner of a vehicle with faded plastic trim I just sand and paint trim pieces
That's for sure. I've tried plenty of chemicals. This one is took too place. Update video coming out shortly.
Best way to not get it on your paint is to tape around the edges of the trim and then remove the tape when you’re done.

To get the most out of this product, make sure you wipe down and throughly clean and dry the plastic panels before applying.
Yes, you may have missed where I mentioned I washed and dried the truck.
I used olive oil...it works.

Actually I was thinking of doing an update soon. I have to wash my truck so this probably a good time. Stay tuned. But if you want to know a guesstimate, I'll say it's not as faded as the very beginning but also not as black after coating it. It's been thru multiple washes, rain and regular elements. Unfortunately it is not. However, it's been over a year with rain and sun and showing some fading. During the immediate time, yes it works really good. I will be doing an update soon. But hopefully you can understand that it's not a 1 time thing and forget about it.
How long did the ten packs last...? Were you able to do all the trim on the truck with that same package of ten wipes...?
I only used two!!! Granted it didn't last all the way to today since my initial time using it. But that's a long time and it has been thru various weather changes. I would still recommend it. I'm getting ready to use it again before the summer. Thanks for watching.
I have yet to find a single trim coat that will not streak after it rains. Have you tested after a rain? Thks..jc
Yes I have. Just give it the correct amount of time to fully dry and cure and you're good to go. I actually believe mine got hit with rain just days after, and then we had "rain season".

Can this work on roof racks? Anyone?
As long at the roof racks is not losing actual paint. I've used this on my pillars and they are still black.
