This one is KILLER!! Kevin's beatboxing is INSANE! and Avi!! He sounds SO AMAZING!! just so you know this is a PTX original!! PTX can do ANY music genre even this EDM/techno. I don't know if they would do anything more like this but they kind of did with Blinding lights.
They were going for an EDM Club dance track. The look they were going for with the crazy makeup and outfits was "Cyber Goth", which was a subculture of the dance club scene at the time. Nailed it on both counts! To successfully pull off EDM without the "E" (Electronic) with a purely acapella arrangement was a masterpiece.
There were 3 originals in PTX Vol. 2 Love Again, Natural Disaster and Run To You. Avi also drops some nasty bass in Natural Disaster. There are live performances here on youtube

Since this was my 1st original I heard from them, it blew me away too. I think they were a little too ahead of the trend. Had they made this a few years later after the style became more mainstream, it might have taken off more. I remember liking this song when it came out, but understood why it got removed from the tour back then. People just were not reacting to it at all the first few shows they did, so they just tossed it from the set list. At least they did a live version of it in an interview before they stopped doing it.
If I remember correctly, this was their first original. If so, then I’d assume people just weren’t sure yet because they had done mostly, if not entirely, covers at that point
