Isn’t it amazing how when there’s scene of a man rejecting his cheating wife (which he should) there’s an evil/scary undertone, but when a woman literally beats her cheating husband or destroys his car, etc, there’s a cheerful joyful comedy undertone to it?
Sounds like the wife was a manipulator. First, she sweetly tries to win Will back (even though she also snidely says “I just want a moment of your time. For 16 years, that’s pretty cheap” implying that Will’s lack of attention to her was the reason why she cheated on him). Then, when he doesn’t fall for her fake tears, she angrily grabs him and accuses him of being smug. All things considering, I don’t exactly feel bad for her fate, especially since she died at the hands of her ex lover.

My favorite scene in the film and I've wondered lately if Nicholson agreed to do it because of this particular exchange and his response to her.
At 1:13 consider that a divorce.
Charlotte Randall: Will? Please, can I talk to you? For a moment. Just a moment of your time. For 16 years, that's pretty cheap.
Will Randall: What do you want?
Charlotte Randall: I want to come back.
Will Randall: No.
Charlotte Randall: I have no excuse. I deserve anything you do to me. I'm just begging you to be kind.
Will Randall: Stewart become unlovable now that he's out of my job?
Charlotte Randall: I never loved Stewart. It was a mistake, Will. I'm going to talk to him. Stewart never for one moment meant anything to me.
Will Randall: And do you think that makes it better, that you've betrayed me over and over again with a man that meant "NOTHING" to you, to know that you've betrayed me for nothing?!
Charlotte Randall: Don't be such a smug--
Will Randall: Don't touch me! And keep away.
Classic Jack Nicholson quotes from "Wolf" 1994.
You crammed a lot of Charlotte quotes in there, too.
cheating wife always expects forgiveness because she "is sorry"
Really good movie ... one of my favorits.
So she's asking Will for forgiveness and work it out with him before going back to talk to Stuart to end the affair?
Yup. She needed a back-up in case Will said no. lol
I wonder how his character Jack, in the Shining, would handle this?
Man, sure could have used the inspiration from this scene in a couple of my relationships
“And keep away”😂😂😂
Belongs to street
Love this part
Well that cheating ex wife did is expected. And it is right what husband decision not to let her go back to him. She made her choice.
Isn’t it amazing how when there’s scene of a man rejecting his cheating wife (which he should) there’s an evil/scary undertone, but when a woman literally beats her cheating husband or destroys his car, etc, there’s a cheerful joyful comedy undertone to it?
It invokes fear because he's the one who truly holds the power when he taps into it.
I don’t know if it’s evil rather than just tragic, which all the best horror movies are.
Really love that outfit Michelle wears to the hotel...
She's smoking hot ... Those eyes ... ❤️ 🌹
Or paws of her ex lover
Yeah, true.
Y they dont make these beautifull stories anymore its very sad every movie is about superman or some creature never going to be real while this is fresh and real life how he speaks about wife betrayl I mean I know u would say well humans dont turn to wolves but they may have their charechter
But women really do this they find the guy you personally hate the most then want to hollar back at you later
Having an affair is so iresbosble.
Како је диван у овој сцени ❤
No one wants to means "nothing" to someone, especially after s/he slept with her/him.
Happy birthday at kate nelligan from italian boy live in rome and I m fan of this wonderful movie
Great Great stuff...Jack is the best!
1950's ere she might've got a smack
So often what cheating husbands say...
And Cheating wives MORE...
@@aleksandarvil5718 agreed. There’s a big misconception thst men do it more but wives cheat just as much
Enter the beautiful blonde goddess.
Well we knew that men are cheaters so women have this notion that cheating is ok cause men have a double standard. So she thought she had a chance. Great scene for a quick lesson. She was a doctor no?? Should have known better.
Where TF is axe scene ???
Yes! I love that soap and body wash!
Kate nelligan was born on thursday as today
This scene shows that Nicholson was the wrong man for the role. He was always dangerously charismatic.
Michelle !!!!!!!!
There you have it a lesson revealed 30 years ago god is good
Happy birthday at Jack nicholson from italian boy live in rome
If he meant nothing why did u sleep with him¿
I think little to no actual sleeping was involved.
Where the hell is Kate Nelligan now anyway?
She is killed by stewart wolf
Maybe he did that because miss laura was sitting there.
Lol!!
Women, can’t live with them, can’t live without them
Today kate nelligan 73 years
First she is hawk, then a cat, then a wolf... Make up your mind
I'm not defending none of them, but it still feels rather sad that Charlotte would eventually murdered later that night. Gladly, there was no graphic depiction of it.
serves that whore right
Another Cheating wife lol 😂
