Its adding air because tye stock gen v exhaust actually has a tiny cat in it. So it may be helping burn up shit in the cat and not be a full emissions gimick. I still ripped it all off and swapped exhaust. Its a MUST remove if you are trying to tune with a wideband o2 sensor though.
The PAIR delete? Not really. It shoukd not effect the firing. Do you mean it won't start, but it will crank?. If so then most likely you opened the vacsysyem somewhere and the fuel pump is not pumping. You should have one vacuum line from the intake manifold to the fuel pump. You can have a T or it looks like a plastic "Y" in that line with another line going the original CVK carb. It will run fine without that line also. But make sure you have NO OPEN ends on any of those likes.
@GhettoWrench I have a open end from the intake, from the y that goes to the rear end and one that goes to a sliver circle that's had one of the egr lines going to it
@usaeagles92 cap all those off or just completely get rid of them. Best method is 1 single line from intake to fuel pump. But if you don't have long enough line then use the Y but make sure the Y has line going to carb. No open ends.
@michaelhatala trying yo remember. I just cut the tube off and squshed it together and solderd it I think for the plug. Pretty sure it just vented to air. It actually pulls in outside air into exhaust port so there shoukd be no other lines. The crap on the valve cover don't matter. Those holes don't go anywhere. Just that one sticking out on the head.
Where? The bullshit exhaust flange? Holes to mount it certainly weren't made for a 50cc head. M5 is the stud holes in flange aren't ....their bigger. An bend on pipe is to much to tighten one side which is why they didn't finish it while putting mine together therefore i lose gasket an didn't know it. Would of thought people finish a job but not this generation of people Facts. I put copper bushings in holes of flange an hex head bolts an a fucking homemade flange gasket out of a beer can an the sellers of the bike which I spoke with today was most definitely cool with sending me a gasket which I ask for an said to myself fuck the other shit because they anit worth a fuck
@seanmayo206 I ended up cutting away the plastic cooling shroud by right hand exhaust nut so I could get an open end wrench in there and make baby turns. What a poor design.

No. seemed to run no different at all.
