yea I'm also a big guy like that, and I can understand the frustration. though I will say I believe a bear can be a straight guy too, it's just any guy who is big and burly, I occasionally get referred to as a Grizzly or a Bear by friends and family, but the way they do it is completely different, they call me it because i'm big burly and grumpy lol. but yea, it kind of got hijacked by the gay community and can feel awkward if your a straight guy and you get gays calling you it then, but being nicknamed Grizz or something because your a big gruff guy is fine to me, so long as it's not in the gay sense lol
