    Awesome video! Very informative. Makes my sim experience even better. Never been in a GA Aircaft myself. I hope you can appreciate one critic though, i had to switch from my phone to pc big screen format to be able to read the plate along with you; letters were too small on mobile screen. Keep it up! Thank you for the content.

    Great video Jon. I noticed you briefed your MAP as the VDP. Is that a normal procedure? Do they always always coincide? Or is this one just a coincidence? Keep up the good work.

    Sorry, REALLY late to this party. At 6:39 you said timing was from JHUNT to MAP. Chart states timing from FAF to MAP and FAF is AUUDD, not JHUNT. Right?

    • @RedSailor1701
      @RedSailor1701 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Late reply sorry!
      Where are you getting AUUDD from, can't see it on the chart anywhere?
      The FAF (where the bold "x" is at the top of the LOC slope) is JHUNT and is where the timing is begun from.

      @@RedSailor1701 Totally understandable, no problem! I have NO idea what AUUDD is about...it's almost as if someone was at my computer and wrote a stupid reply from me. I totally agree with you; the FAF is obviously JHUNT. Sorry for wasting your time!

      AUUDD is absolutely on the approach plate and is where the maltese cross is located, hence FAF. It used to be JHUNT in old versions @@RedSailor1701

    I wouldn't say that is how you brief a plate. That was nearly 8 minutes long. The approach would be long over by the time you finish briefing.

      He briefed it in like 2 minutes though. 5:20-7:00

      @@helloye987 You should also be briefing the approach before you are established on the localizer
