Hey man great video the car sounds magnificent! I am going to buy a rs5 2019 this year (a used one) do you have any tips or things i have to look out when checking the car out? Like a buyers guide to avoid buying a damaged/crashed car without me knowing?

Planning on picking an RS5 and I think this exhaust is the only way to go on this car. Thanks for filming this and can’t wait for the next one. However, wouldn’t this be the non-resonated touring exhaust, as the track edition has no mufflers at all?
Beautiful car! Just picked up an rs5 myself but i was wondering, does this exhaust system involve a bimodal function? I noticed the exhaust note increased dramatically once you kicked it into sport mode
Even the F80 M3 with equal length midpipes doesn’t sound nearly as good as this. Gotta give it to Audi to make their 6 cylinder turbos to sound good. Is the rs5 a single or twin turbo setup ?

That’s the solenoids clicking from the factory exhaust valves. I have that fixed now. My AWE exhaust does not have those valves so you have to buy a plug to trick it thinking they are there and always open so it won’t cycle like that.
Yes! Only has the rims and cat-back exhaust here. Everything on engine is stock down to the air intake box. But I just put a cold air intake kit on last night! Video dropping tomorrow!🙌🏼😁
How you finding this exhaust on freeway runs my dude? I was after the res but I can’t lose my cats so this is the only choice from AWE. This video makes it sound so much better than the official AWE video as well, appreciate it!
@DaytonaRS5 why do you say you can't lose your cats? I have a 2018 coupe and want the resonated touring exhaust, but could there potentially something that won't let me ?
@@berranden I just don’t want to deal with smog stuff in Cali when the time comes and I’m not after huge power or anything. If you are catless you can get the resonated, if you have cats then it’s the non-res you want 👍

This is the touring. The track exhaust has no mufflers at all.

I love both cars but I agree. This might be the exhaust setup I'm looking for for mine. And to answer your question, the RS 5 is twin turbo.

How much did you pay for the whole exhaust kit
It’s the AWE tuning cat back system and the CarbNlabs downpipes. About $4k
