    The hobby advice is great, but what keeps me coming back to the channel is the random tangents about the intricacies of Japan.

    i havent checked your other videos but there are extra hellblaster arms in hellblaster kits you can get at least 12 heavy plasma troops, maybe more if youre willing to mix plasma weapon types

      Oh, excellent! I haven't built the hellblaster multipart kit yet - only the push fit ones from the 9th edition starter sets.

    I made 10 of them out of an interssesor box and some extra power swords and shields.

    Hi there! Do you have any advice for a starter paint set for 40k minis? I've seen stuff like the speed paint set from army painter but I wanted to get your specific advice. I have a votann army that I'd like to do similar to your style, chiefly to achieve that lovely white.

      @thehammerofwrath  ปีที่แล้ว

      As many hobbyists will tell you, white is TOUGH! I do all my whites through an air brush - but if you don't have one of those, a rattle can will do. The shield is a great example in that you could keep all of them separate, and spray them white with the can, knowing that white is your base color there.

      As for a starter set - hmm. That depends on what army you're painting. GW makes several beginner paint sets, but they are built around specific color schemes, like Ultramarines or Necrons. You might be best suited to decide your army, and then get 5 paints and a shade or two to start out.

    Great builds! I just wish they weren't all caucasian

      I just hit them with the same color as I was airbrushing. I have darker skinned models in all my other forces, so I'll probably paint some like that in the future. I like the variation, and I've discovered a recipe that keeps the dark skin from looking lifeless or cold.
