@@Randomdude1979 Caulifla got SS2 first though. That’s why I’m bringing it up. Despite Caulifla having SS2 longer, she couldn’t use the form a second time without Goku teaching. But Cabba was able to tap into it after the first time when fighting Frieza.

The power response to a need, not a desire. Vegeta was merely used in the plot as a desire for Cabba transform, there was no need for it. No real threat. It's no different nor better than Trunks and Goten getting SSJ just for the hell of it.
It's poor ass storytelling and a bad plot device for Cabba, it shows Cabba has poor character development
@@DrekalScar "it's a need" thing was made by Goku in order to Gohan for grow. In reality, rage and s-cells are the suited requirements for Super Saiyan Transformations and also Cabba was genuinely scared at his warning since he was soft hearted and didn't have any pride and was also unfamiliar with Vegeta at the time. Vegeta achieved super saiyan 1 and 2 through his *desire* even though he had to train for it, it was still only his *desire* that helped him reach new limits.

Goku told it to his son yes, but you forget, Vegeta transformed because he had a evil heart. Akira knew what he was doing, the best transformations in the franchise all followed the philosophy of responding to a need.
You super fans are not true DBZ fans. Ultra Instinct was and is the only good transformation from Super,. everything else is utter trash.
Cabba is deadass the second person we watched dramatically unlock ss2 in the anime, Like, Gohan first, Goku just had it, Vegeta had it, Gotenks never bothered, GT didnt care, So yeah, Cabba was the 2nd person to unlock ss2 onscreen for the first time
