Core class isn't really getting discontinued from what I understood; it's more like it won't be as frequent and will be more focused on characters that need to be core class.
Then again, it's my understanding of it

Not a bad idea. If we get Laserbeak, we'll likely get Buzzsaw. And if we're lucky we can get Ratbat too.
