I’m a first time mom and didn’t know we’re supposed to teach our baby to sit up…. She’s 5 months and she’s able to stay up with support, but isn’t able to by herself at all. I was worried. I’m glad I searched for this video right away. I guess I have lots more research to do….
Could you make a video on how to teach your baby to lay back down from sitting ? I’m currently sleep training and baby falls asleep sitting and can’t get out of it , so I have to go in an assist baby to lay back down. Thanks !
Thank you for sharing! Really struggling with my 10 month old. She's been sitting unassisted for months but just can't get into and out of this position by herself and will get frustrated when I try to assist. She also not a crawler just yet as she only slides backwards 🤦♀️ but I'll try these exercises and hopefully she can start doing it independently 🤞
Sounds like my almost 10 month son. He can’t get in and out of sitting on his own. He can army crawl using his arms to pull him forward but doesn’t get on hands and knees. I hope these tricks will help you and I! Good luck
Thank you for watching this video! Keep giving your baby opportunities to practice, and try demonstrating for her how to do it if she's resistant to you assisting her.
Excellent!! I really like it and my baby too :) as for new topics - when to sit in high chair, including reclining. Mine is 5,5 months, eats from bottle and holds it very well
Great info. But my baby completed his 8 month yesterday but he still need my support to be seated but once he sit he wont fall... Can you make videos on how let him sit by his own with the help of hands
My baby is doing the fifth activity but each time we help her go from sitting to all fours she face plants. Any guidance on how to help eliminate this ?
Thank you for watching the video. These activities are great to do with a baby who has already mastered sitting upright, which for most babies that occurs by around 7 months of age. The next step is to help the baby learn how to get in and out of the sitting position on their own.
Hi my 7 moths old baby still not try to sit by her own I consulted doctor also he told that baby having 8 kgs of weight so she takes some time... Could u pls help me... Is my baby alright.... Pls reply me asasp
Hi Shruthi. All children develop at their own pace and if your child was examined and the doctor is not concerned, then I recommend that you not worry but continue to work on exercises to help her sit.
My baby is 8months and refuses to bend her legs to go onto knees. She wants to keep pulling herself up people and screams on the floor until she gets into a panic state. How can I help her
Should I be concerned? My 7 almost 8 month old isn’t sitting up on her own yet. She leans forward and can go at least a minute sitting on her own! She leans forward to grab the you
Is it true that females learn to crawl way before males? My son is 7 months still no crawling but our friend who is 3 weeks older only is already crawling and standing on her own, and her mom said she saw her daughter do this way before her son too. My friend said maybe it is because she watched her brother crawl but I think it could be possible females just learn to crawl earlier than males.
My baby is 7 months old. He doesn't sit with out support. With support also he don't want to sit. Whenever I make him sit after 1 or 2 min he wants to lay down. Is this normal?
Hi Suman, I have a video that goes through exercises on how to teach a baby to crawl. It's linked here if you'd like to check it out: th-cam.com/video/VYlz_j0V4Qk/w-d-xo.html There are 6 different crawling styles, and sometimes the baby is crawling, but not doing the traditional hands and knees crawl. There are babies who skip crawling all together as well and go straight to walking. Speak to your babies doctor and have them evaluate. If the baby is keeping up with age appropriate development, then it's not something to worry about.

baby don't learn this own their own. my mum never bother to teach any of us, we still manage to wall and talk within normal range
