- Welcome or welcome back to my channel! I am a Seattle based flight attendant and I share life on reserve. I was ten minutes from the end of my airport standby shift and I got called for some flying. BUT! This allowed us to explore and get outside in new places and a very familiar one. Alyssa, we'd love a Q&A video! I think that would be so fun. I'd be interested in hearing your story. About like how you decided you wanted to be a flight attendant, how long it took you to get hired, how many airlines you applied too, was this airline your number 1 choice, what you did before becoming a flight attendant, etc! Would love to just hear your story about it! Thanks for taking us along, as always.
I’m still provoked with Panera for getting rid of potato soup 😆 I still eat there, though. In Nashville area, at least, we started having a summer corn chowder awhile back. Haven’t had the street corn soup, yet. Whenever I hear “blue corn”, I think of the Pocahontas movie!

You’re eating at the Panera I frequent. That was so cool. Good eats‼️ My son was a Cpt for Alaska/Horizon air for a long time but 5 years ago went over to Alaska. He lives near Portland. So many coincidences. Small world‼️ Yes…we have been having lots of stormy weather lately. I was probably at Panera the same day you were. Thanks for the serendipity treat‼️
Alyssa, this year has been flying by for sure! I feel like time seems to go faster and faster. So interesting to see that they add a flight when you've got 10 minutes left on reserve. Lovely vlog, as usual. That walk looked stunning! I'm glad you got outside and enjoyed nature a bit.

- What workout routine are you following?
- As a flight attendant, you don't check your bags but take it as carry on. What beauty items do you take with you since it has to be under 100ml?
- You mention the earnings of a flight attendant aren't as much as people think. How can you work yourself up in this system? (My mother worked many years on the ground for different airlines. Her income was also a topic to talk about. My mother asked for a raise since the pressure at work kept rising in addition to the lack of employees and little time to train others, and she was told to get a couple of cents... That's when she stopped working there.)
- How many books have you read thus far this year? What book was one of your favorites and why?
- Would you want to be based in Maui so you can spend more time with your partner?
- Where would you want to travel to?

hey Alyssa! maybe try looking into a PO box near your apartment. I had one when I lived in a not-great apartment, and that post office offers using a street address if you have things that can't be delivered to a PO box. I had previously had a mailbox at the UPS store for the same reason, but it was less expensive through the post office. (: just a suggestion that might be helpful for you!
