The charity is really something special. The community and atmosphere of cycle sisters is something different from other cycle clubs and it’s changed many of our lives for the better reaching in corners of communities that cycling hasn’t touched before. Yeah, hard to look at IMHO. The first bike: Different types of purple; the orange and purple seem to clash; the gradient between the black and purple on the wheels make it seem like it was painted with a hardware store paint can. Not a fan. The 2nd bike looks better but not good.
A lot of criticism about the money spent here. To someone as wealthy as this person, giving her friend a bike like this is the equivalent of you or me giving a friend a nice pair of cycling socks. I like to bling out my bike too. Since I am not rich, my bling is on a budget. 😄

No one bats an eye or questions it when a guy who makes $50,000 drives up in a new truck. It's so normal here in the US. So it's funny that some people are criticizing a couple of wealthy women that have splurged $20,000 on a paint job onto a $15,000 bike.
@@erikwiseman1702 Where in America is a house $90,000??? Or a new truck $30,000??? Hyundais don't count. Go to any dealership, any guy making $40,000 can get hoodwinked into buying a $90,000 full sized truck. Not saying they should, but they can.
I’m actually surprised, I was nervous to look at the comments thinking it would be a diatribe of Islamophobia, but folks seem to be respectful.
Islamophobia? Have you read any history? I'm sure you'll find Christian states have a good reason for angst, but according to you it's a phobia? Weird...
These are works of art , I would never ever ride them... that said, why does this video not show up in your latest video feed? got some negative feedback for support Cycling Sisters? you should keep it up there.
Stunning paint on both bikes. The level of detail on both is amazing.
Also having looked into the charity both Women are associated with, that’s pretty cool too. Any charity that works to encourage under represented groups to cycle is surely worthy of support from the wider cycling community.
The charity is really something special. The community and atmosphere of cycle sisters is something different from other cycle clubs and it’s changed many of our lives for the better reaching in corners of communities that cycling hasn’t touched before. Got my first century, medal, international ride because of this charity and it all started when I didn’t even have a bike of my own to ride
The paint jobs are awesome I don’t think there is any denying that!
I understand this video is about the custom painting and how expensive it can get, but GCN, why those two bikes? This is a great example of “ too much money and NO good taste or design”.
Anyhow, thanks GCN for awesome content….
Ali painted my Cannondale SystemSix in candy pearl Black Cherry with gold logo's, absolutely top job and well worth the cost to have a one off custom.
just curiosity how must did you payed?
How much?
1k
I admire the workmanship. but not the result. They are both ugly!
Haters gonna hate.
Might I suggest that the heart shaped valve caps on the Roubaix are re drilled to make them symmetrical? That way they would look like hearts and not another part of the male anatomy!! Oops.
kids bikes taken to the extreme ;)
Love the white one! But im not sure about the purple one though...
Beige*
White or beige smthn
I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but to me these look hideous - like some kids toy made from garish plastic.
Yeah, hard to look at IMHO. The first bike: Different types of purple; the orange and purple seem to clash; the gradient between the black and purple on the wheels make it seem like it was painted with a hardware store paint can. Not a fan. The 2nd bike looks better but not good.
Exactly!
@@Frankienoname0I agree with you. These are garish paint jobs on two mediocre bikes.
Those are some real intricate paint jobs. Thanks for the video
A lot of criticism about the money spent here. To someone as wealthy as this person, giving her friend a bike like this is the equivalent of you or me giving a friend a nice pair of cycling socks.
I like to bling out my bike too. Since I am not rich, my bling is on a budget. 😄
Amazing. And chapeau for the description of the details/group set.
What a bloody waste of money. It's just showing off !!!
i mean, you could say that about anything expensive! cars, bikes, clothes!🤷♂️
@@OllieBridgewoodit's a charity event/s, probably people turn up on bikes worth very little and then someone leading the charity has a 20 grand paint job on an already expensive bike, really!!! You find that acceptable Ollie!
I agree way too much bling,a lightweight bike and it's now had weight added to it.....Not a fan of this at all,but hey each to their own.
surely, they're not riding in basic black cycling clothes
Opposite of keeping it simple 😮
i can completely relate to this.
Hope they don't crash
If I have the money I'd paint my frame in eerie dess swirl. What is that? A painting famous on Jackson guitar. Used to have one and the coolest looking I ever had.
So, $10,000 (we assume the title means per bike otherwise you could write $100,000 but mean 10 bikes)
20,000 cost, maybe but no way worth.
Like looking at questionably fashionable unobtainable
Video: hey look at these cool bikes waoow!
Comments: butthurt men having a cry about random topics.
So predictable.
Which flag is on the bikes?!
I love custom paint work but this is just an exercise in vanity and gratuitous spending. Very little to do with charity unless they are being put up for silent auction. Workmanship is top notch though ! I can see the invoice being as high as he says. Materials alone would be close to $1000 and 200hrs at shop rate.
The video was about the bikes and not about the charity. The owners just happen to ride with and support the organisation.
The bikes are the personal property of the owners. They aren't anything to do with the charity. It's pretty clear from the video.
Typical Arabs they think class is all about how shiny or big something is.
@@fedyno4reviews they are not arab... your comments aren't doing too well today huh buddy
Love the paint job on these bikes. Just amazing.
paintjobs are stunning but i absolutely love the heart-shaped valve caps - devil lies in the details!!!!
How much do they weigh?
Thanks for the flag...
These bikes are gorgeous, and what a cool story that one was a gift from the other. I haven’t heard of the charity before, but that’s an admirable mission.
Still…
…if I never hear another ‘freehub sound test’ again, it’ll still be too soon. ;)
It’s now time for the freehub soundcheck
@ I like my freehubs as quiet as possible. :)
I tolerate noise from the road bike, but on my mtb all I want to hear is the tires on the trail.
Ну если деньги не куда больше тратить, можно и байк перекрасить. Можно и вело одежду из золотой ткани заказать, много чего можно. :))))
Leaning these bikes on a stick was a risk 😂
because there are people willing to pay for it
Definitely not my style but the first bike is beautifully customised, the second bike is not very appealing.💯👌🏻🚴♂️
What kind of nonsense is this? Are they painted with gold or with Picasso tassels?
Comments have made me want to donate to Cycle Sisters charity
How on earth can the second bike take 200 hours. It is not that difficult to make a dip painting.
Try listening to Ollie’s explanation.
How much did that custom shadow stand cost? 😂
Check out ETOE's topographical paint job that he did for his sister's bike. Matches or exceeds these in terms of result via his skill and patience.
Still a nice job though.
I'd never ride either of them for fear of damaging them!!
Ya, that's wall art.
Too bad all that work went into a disposable bikes.
