This map looks really cool. From the detailed maps to the numerous game mechanics introduced, this is probably one of the most polished sonic maps that i have seen in minecraft.
Oh my gosh my favorite part was the wall jump and the time when sonic and shadow used caos control those parts were just amazing 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😀😀😀😀😀mind blown especially in minecraft
i kinda got disappointed when you didn't use that giant loop as part of the map. but otherwise, great work. i understand why you didn't do it, it kinda sucks how you have to download a mod just to play a map.

The inspiration for the idea came when I saw the sonic green Hill map by Disco. It made me want to create my own map and with myself starting to learn how to use command blocks in version 1.6.4 and learning how to create a resource pack, I started with building a dash panel, then a spring which worked surprisingly well, and then a Stargate. The idea to do crisis city came from Sethbling's tornado setup, which I really wanted to recreate.

Is there a command that multiple blocks;(the cars that explode in the video) that can explode when hit to the ground like TNT? I’m asking because want to do that too.
😔No, sadly there isn't(unless you spawn a lit tnt block) . What I had done was timed the landing of the sand entities with an explosion sound and a kill command.
spareful I also have another question for you, how hard is it to make a custom map that uses command blocks to work, I’m new to these kind of things, some tips would be nice.
@@luongs18 Once you understand how to use moderate commands for the command block it's not too hard to piece together the commands into something more complex. It does take a lot of research though to understand the limits of Minecraft.

Using stair pieces for that leaning building was a nice touch. It’s the little things that help.
It's a good Sonic '06 map. It does its job, it pisses you the f--- off with how it just doesn't work half the time XD

Btw, did you put barrier blocks on the structures you were jumping on?
Most of the map is open to travel on during actual play, but there is some areas blocked off by barrier blocks.
