The PPSH was the gun I liked using in the Russian front campaigns of the original Call Of Duty; low spread, lots of ammo!

Even though it was dis activated it makes a Great Wall hanger and what’s better is that it’s not a replica, it’s nice you did more of a preservation than a restoration so it can still show it’s history!

That's a ppsh which was used by the Russians. The Americans used the Thompson (aka Tommy gun). Very different guns in manufacture and caliber
ППШ-42 aka PPSH-42 based on Suomi Suomikonepistooli m/31, russians just copied it after the Winter War and create the PPD-34/40 (ППД-34/40)

wow, this was a great video! the staccato recoil goes hard on the shoulder, I wonder if the previous owner welded it because it jumbled the wood so hard. It's really nice he managed to keep the stamp on the wood.
If youmwere able to get around those welds, Brandon Herrera and the AKG Factory has parts kits for Ppsh's. All the variants. And if he doesn't have them can get them. Including the 7.62x25mm ammo
Except he would have to convert it to semi because he probaly doesn’t have the right licenses
@@Randomess5.45 you don't know about Brandon Herrera. Dudes whole thing is shooting and owning and turning guns to fully automatic. So yes, he most certainly has the correct licensing, you ever heard of the AK-50? He also made a AK/ Tommy gun hybrid. If you like guns and edge of humor I suggest you look into him

This gun was used by most of the countries that was associated with the USSR after second world war. But as well during the World War II a great piece of history.

That's a ppsh used by the Russians. Not a tommy gun (aka the Thompson was used by the Americans) completely different gin

That would make a great accessory for someone who does living history reenactments as a WW2 partisan fighter or Russian soldier. Great "restoration". It's just not a Tommy Gun. 🙂

I think you need to run those numbers on that gun and you might be surprised it’s not a prop gun but a real one,that’s been rendered unusable.just saying my opinion.😎😎😎👍👍👍

А почему вы полностью его не разобрали ? Хорошие штифты можно сделать из обычного сверла, выбрать нужный диаметр и отрезать по длине, качественные сверла производят из хорошей стали.
Штифт из сверла? Наглядно можете показать? А то что-то "попахивает"!!! :)

Seriously, check with Ian from Forgotten Weapons if any of the markings are from a real PPSH41. You may have a something of value or at least more value than you think
