Welcome to Korat MICE City!
Located 255 kms from Bangkok, Korat is the largest province in Thailand in terms of area, and the second largest in terms of population. With rich cultural and natural heritages, Korat now has almost 600 hotels and venues for MICE, which means Meetings, Incentives Travel, Conventions, and Exhibitions. From small companies’ outings to big corporates’ conferences, from local trade fairs to international mega events, Korat is definitely one of the best locations to host such events.
Korat has many hotels with great facilities as well as shopping malls with spacious venues for MICE. Both government and private organisations have given their best collaboration to make Korat a world-class MICE city, providing total solutions including great logistics, venues, accommodations, food, related activities for MICE participants, and human resources support. Most importantly, safety and health standard here is guaranteed.
Korat provides various options for MICE venues - from those that accommodate 100 people, to those that accommodate 4,000-5,000 people. Korat is a convenient place to stay in either a short or a long term. There is everything for MICE participants - tourist attractions, shopping malls, restaurants with local and international food, cafes, wineries, farms, historical park, recreational spaces, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Korat is a transportation hub of Northeastern Thailand. It is convenient for people to travel from Bangkok or other cities to Korat via normal roads, highways, and railways. at least you have visited an airport themed shopping mall called terminal 21, months after the deadly shooting. i guess that there are stricter security checks for the visitors entering the mall since the shooting, just like the Central Hat Yai Mall in Hat Yai. you can also add that Korat is also located on a plateau called the Korat plateau that suits the growth for the wine-making grapes.

Everyone of these videos I watched always show the same themes, Malls and Restaurants. They never focus on out doors sports such as Mountain biking, Hiking, Water Sports. I'm interested in Korat but need to know what kind of quality out doors life this place can provide and places to live. Great video though like to visit the Vineyards.
