I have a pouch and it works great. You don't have to take your every day case off or always have a bulky case on, the touch screen still works, it was like $10, has a better depth max, and more. Also I used to have a life proof and the Lightning port latch broke and the screen started peeling off through super basic use. Barely ever submerged it just normally used it and my $100 case was no longer waterproof.

I have an Otterbox Defender series case, but alas water did get into the phone so now it's time to get a new case with my new phone.
