It’s all good! Thanks Dennis 🙌🏾😊
I love how you pronounce Nairobi 😍🤩
come on kenyans lets rally behind her am sorry for the encounter with blue boy
Thanks a lot Arthur 🙌🏾
Literally. In America our police are entirely arrogant and rude and lethal. It’s a racist and corrupt institutional practice… disappointing to see it replicated in Kenyan culture apparently 😭 doesn’t have to be that way AT ALL!
@@MoreYaraMel so what would you recommend about having your passport on you while walking around Kenya?
@@Jboy1527 Have a copy, especially a digital one

That is very true 🙌🏾😊
Love your pronunciation of Nairobi
Portuguese accent 😂
Nairobi
beautiful
HELLO, JAMBO,SASA you great that guy all the Swahili you knew 😂
All the words at once 🤣🤣🤣
I wonder how kenyan police would ask for Passports or valid documents when President himself Announced to the whole World that kenya is visa free.😮
Do you understand the different between a passport and Visa?, please Google?
You must identify yourself, people like you are just dumb.... Visa free doesn't mean lack of identity even Kenyans carry identity cards...and there's nothing like visa free... ETA is more comprehensive and secure for the country than visa
You stupid or something??? 😂😂
😂😂😂 you sound ridiculous
Have u ever left your country before
Next Make sure you go to City Market...
Good job
I've heard about TKK, but never thought the cops will negatively affect tourism like that or at all. I will be looking for that fresh fruit stand. And matatus here I come....
❤❤❤
Ugh these despicable police… A passport copy should do, right?
Great video idea, and with this budget you could alternatively enjoy a couple of upscale things - the transportation is expensive though so better stick to a small area. Will there be more Kenya videos coming? 😊
Yes, next time there’ll be a passport copy 😄 yes, there are so many ways to spend $20! Thanks for watching dear 🙌🏾
Like how you pronounce Nairrobi
Nairooo-bi innit😄
😂 NairÓbi
You have a new boyfriend in Kenya, much love ❤❤❤
I think Mozambique will be my first destination outside kenya
You’ll enjoy Moz! Thanks for watching 😊
from maputo to nairobi
Yes. dont carry your passport with you on the streets. But you must make a photo of it just in case
Sorry about what the police made you go through. Much love from Uganda 🇺🇬
It’s all good! Thanks for watching 🙌🏾😊
No need to be sorry, you must identify yourself....it's by law
@@AmazingManiaSo after bribing was she identified 😂😂. We all know what they wanted, let's be honest
Just a correction: "Green city IN the sun." Not "UNDER." The phrase is a reference to a historical claim in literature about Nairobi. Great video though! 👏☺
Thanks for that! 😆🙌🏾
Doesn’t really matter bro
Carrying your passport everywhere is not practical honestly
The accent 🔥
😂
@@MoreYaraMel wachana na accent, Yara uko na mtu?
One thing that keeps me from travelling is the corruption in all the most interesting places! Getting a shake-down by local and federal police is a terrible thing to have to deal with and it seems to be common practice in the best places. Maybe some day before I die I will feel safe travelling to Egypt, Iran, Syria, Turkey and elsewhere in the Middle East to walk around and see in person some of the most magnificent ancient stone architecture on Earth. Maybe consider Peru, Columbia and Mexico to see those ancient stone works but still, seems like there are too many crooks roaming around on Earth. Those most interesting ancient places are just too violent and unstable.
Beautiful woman and a beautiful city
❤ thank you Since Lisboa Portugal Europa ❤ Happy Easter 2024❤
Happy Easter Paulina 🤗 thanks for watching!
The shameless policemen of Africa (some, not ALL are like those you met but really in Africa, in general, we hear a lot of these stories of policemen just stopping people and looking for cooked up issues because they want money and give a bad name to the institution they work for) who never learn, never cease to shame us with their corrupted minds. The good thing is: NOT everyone is like them. I am not Kenyan but even from your video I can feel that your regular Kenyan is just cool and welcoming. Thank you for an interesting vlog because I'd love to visit Nairobi one day and to just have a rough idea on how much one can spend in a day is so helpful.
That’s definitely the case. Just a few bad apples. Kenyans are amazing! Thanks for watching 🙌🏾😊
5:13 That ID thing has happened to me. I completely refused to pay the policemen and we ended up walking nearly 2 km to the "station". I had some scrumptious snacks in my bag which I enjoyed together with the hungry brethren. It was all laughter all the way after that. Of course they decided to let me go. It's annoying though, and some people have had actual bad experiences with the cops
I can imagine! My thing is, I had to finish filming this video. If I had a free day I wouldn’t have paid, I would chill with them 😂
@@MoreYaraMel 👍🏾 Poa. Thanks for visiting us
Sorry about the police encounter
I wish you had taken the photos showing the faces of the rogue corrupt cops so that we make sure they're dealt with by our anti-corruption agencies!
Otherwise, you are doing great. Keep it up gal. We love you.
I didn’t want to expose them, I felt bad 😄 thanks for watching 🙌🏾
I guess it’s pretty good for $20
You had really good and interesting day there. Thanks for useful information, I would like to travel there.
About the police…
If you had photo your documents on the phone? Because in Israel I always showed photo my passport and it’s work here.
They didn’t want because they wanted something else. I’ll keep the phone photos and walk with a copy when possible 😄
Thanks for the police advice
The building at Bis station. Is a Sikh temple called Siri Guru Singh Sabha
Thank you! 🙌🏾 Next time I’ll go to the other side. It’s beautiful.
These brothers of ours, it's too much. But we love them, they pull that on me someone's getting fired.
The building is a Sikh temple
Peng!!!😉😉😉
Unataka kuuma haka kamsichana eh?
oh man your so funny 🤣🤣
😂😂 thanks
Yara I’m so sorry you had a negative encounter with Kenyan police. I’m hearing this over and over again from tourist visiting African countries. You were so gracious and nice and did not try to speak negatively of the police encounter. I don’t think I could be so gracious. I am sick and tried of the fact that black people can’t seem to go anywhere without encountering some kinda BS. I’m American of African descent AND this is one reason why I am unwilling to visit African countries. I already deal with racial profiling and police harassment in the US. Why would I leave and risk being targeted in African countries JUST because I’m a foreigner! This is such a turn off😕
Literally. We’re sick of it. Do they want people to visit or do they want to harass tourists who stimulate their economy even further to pay the bills of the entitled police bullies!!! People won’t buy into that at all 😭
Thank for you the words. Please don’t let it deter you from visiting African countries. For the most part, if you’re black you’ll blend in. That’s a privilege in Africa 😄
Thank for you the words. Please don’t let it deter you from visiting African countries. For the most part, if you’re black you’ll blend in. That’s a privilege in Africa 😄
Please don’t come
@@hk254lyt8 why? Are you speaking as a citizen or tourist?
obrigado..i have subscribed.
Obrigado também 🙌🏾😄
For such videos, don't budget from the start. You just have to take your 20$ and go with it to the streets to see what it can get you , now that's content
I’m a planner. I couldn’t do it that way 😭😂
@@MoreYaraMel 😅😅 okay, I wanna meet you and have dinner with you

I just have one quiz! How did Uganda🇺🇬 end up being a small country like that yet it was bigger than Kenya 🇰🇪 😂😂😂😂😂
Poor leadership no exports like Kenya and they don't attract foreign investment like Kenya .
2:03 did you find out the name of the building??
hi ! im a small content creator , and i was wondering what camera you use ?
iPhone 12 normal 😁 and then I buy drone shots.
@@MoreYaraMel Thanks for replying!
Carrying with you at all times a form of ID with which to identify who you are is "International Standard Legal" even if you're a citizen. Being a foreigner in another man's land is the more reason why you definitely should.
You're more likely to be asked to identify yourself if you're a foreigner becouse this is how the authorities can easily weed out illegal immigrants or visa overstayers. So even if the Police are up to no good, if you have your passport with a valid visa in it, then you'll have no reason whatsoever to bribe anyone.
