0:00 it doesn't refer to the nails in Jesus' hands Trent Reznor has gone on record and said that he came up with the name cause it was catchy and easy to abbreviate. Keep reacting to NIN tho you guys always have awesome reactions. Maybe try the song Please from this album as well. Super underrated track.
Definitely check out more songs from this album, it’s truly incredible (ie. Something Damaged, Into the Void, Wretched, where is everybody?). Trent is insanely talented, a musical/creative genius
The Fragile is my favorite NIИ album. The way it develops track to track just like The Downward Spiral but going to more places, more emotions, more experiences. Un-numbed Trent is bleak but willing to explore every single face of life. Love it.
The song follows on the album "Just Like You Imagined" has no lyrics, but I would love to see y'all react to the instrumental progression! It's a roller-coaster of industrial splatter paint.
This was so great, been craving some Nine Inch Nails from y'all, I have Broken in my car right now LOL check out some of their live performances from Woodstock, Terrible Lie or Something I Can Never Have 🤘😎✌ 🖤🌟HAPPY BIRTHDAY SMOKEY!!!🌟🖤🥂🦁🖤🌻♌🖤🎶🎉🖤🎂✨🌞 I remember because mine is tomorrow LOL have a great day my fellow Leo thanks for everything you do to brighten my world, cheers!✌😎
Around this time it was his grandmothers passing, who raised him as a kid. I believe this was about her;there’s a lot of suggestive songs from this album that might be about her. He was sober around the making of the the album but decided to have a drink to celebrate the release which led to a nasty relapse. The fragility tour was a nasty no f-- given ride. He went to rehab after an OD mistaken heroin for cocaine. The lyrics on the w/teeth album was written at the time spent in rehab, which makes a lot of sense in context of the songs esp “only”. He sobered up,has a wife and kid(s?) seems pretty content.
Yooo so dope you reacted to this song, as other comments said I hope you react to the other songs from this album too. The song Just Like You Imagined is incredible.
This is one of those songs that a casual NIN fan probably won't think is that good. But then again, how many people listen to them casually? I feel like you're either looking for those deep cuts or you're not interested at all, and there's few people in between
You should check out Stabbing Westward next. They're like industrial emo. Save Yourself is probably their biggest hit. What Do I Have To Do, Sometimes It Hurts, Haunting Me, Everything I Touch and Slipping Away are all great songs by Stabbing Westward too
Good way of describing them. I don't think there would have been an Emo/Screamo/Metalcore scene if it weren't for Stabbing Westward helping pave the way. Definitely granddaddies of that sound.
this album came out just as a friend started trying to get my into NIN.... this was my first album of theirs. saw them live in 2012 with Soundgarden. was my first time seeing NIN live. it was so hard to listen to them again, the concert was sooooooo gooood (the best i ever went to) that listening to any songs just didnt live up to the concert experience. was a couple months before i could sit an listen to them and not think about the show
The Fragile (The album) was my absolute favorite album I ever owned and I listened to it constantly throughout high school. The packaging was kind of falling apart a bit because of it and it was the first album I owned that came with two CDs (part 1 and part 2). The Great Below never fails to make me emotional lol. I feel like it's a perfect mix of emotions without going too bleak for my taste. I agree with everyone else in the comments about checking out Somewhat Damaged, Even Deeper, and The Wretched. BUT I also want to chime in and say Where Is Everybody? is a personal favorite of mine. So many good songs lol.
Can yall do the new Babymetal BxMxC live that was released recently on their channel? Su sounds so amazing in it. She adds some extra sass to her singing.
Please God keep reacting to this album and NIN songs. We need a day of the week like tool for NIN reactions. Come on you guys! Give the NIN fans what they want. Hell a lot of them are tool heads too like me.
No glitch with the image of the album cover there; that is the actual album cover. I love this record so much, I overplayed it so many times to the point in which both discs began to skip and I had get a replacement, lol... The title track here is an underrated masterpiece; you need to do a reaction to "Into The Void" FR.
There are parts of this song that remind me of The Beatles. The entire The Fragile double-album is a masterpiece though. As for NIN recommendations, I think you guys would love Somewhat Damaged, the opening track from The Fragile.
I remember when the Fragile came out. Fans were confused and I think they were expecting Downward II. The Fragile is a beautiful album with absolutely gorgeous songs. I loved the album. I got to see NIN during the tour in 2000 with APC. Spectacular. It really is a brilliant album and I’m super happy that 20+ years on, people are finally starting to realize that 🤘🤘🖤🖤
Aaah! "Fra-GEE-leh!" It must be Italian! Uh, I think that says FRAGILE, honey. That is from Christmas story. I think in dumb and dumber you thinking of : Samsonite! I was way off! I knew it started with an S, though. When he looked at the case they had
This album is by far one of the best that nin has made and a lot like a Pink Floyd album where it’s best to just put it on track 1 and let it be as it flows into and out of each song you can really feel the emotions and get immersed into the sounds
Morning guys! I love NIN! Trent is such an artist! Ministry is a great industrial band! There's a certain song by ministry but I can't think of the name right now damnit lol!😂🤓🙃
I'd call Elliott Smith emotional, plaintive, impactful... A lot of things. I don't think I'd call him chill. He was very much in the same vein as Reznor. Everything was a story of introspection.
The origin of NIN having to do with Jesus is not true. Also the pronunciation of "Fragile" as "Free geelee" originally came from the movie "A Christmas Story", not "Dumb and Dumber", fyi...happy Thursday....😊
One day you guys will be able to listen to the album as a whole left and right side in all of its glory! The way it was meant to be
Agreed... prob my favorite nin ablum
The best way to listen to any song off the album.
I agree, this album should be taken in in one go. It's a trip.
Agreed !
Yes totally agree!
NIN "Even Deeper" is another banger. Dr. Dre helped with the mixing
For sure, in the instrumental break, he's got the beat going and the instruments mixed a right for a smooth but erie vibe.
You have to react to Somewhat damage from the same album. It will blow your socks off.
"The Wretched" from this album is great.
The wretched live always ends up being one of the HEAVIEST sounding songs next to burning bright off of not the actual events believe it or not
There Is A Reason Why Trent & Atticus Have Two Oscars!!
Excellent album. You have to do Starfuckers Inc. and The Big Come Down.
The Frail & The Wretched off this same album are a interlude/song pair that are worth your time.
Comon guys, stop messing about and show Skinny Puppy some luv! 😃
There would be no NIN without them.
yup Skinny Puppy is sick!!
I’m telling you! SP is the absolute sickest!
Love NIN ❤ My first musical obsession in the 90s.
Keep it rolling with the Nine Inch Nails please

this whole album is a unique masterpiece. you should react to "the wretched", for example

It's my favorite too.

Gotta do ‘The Wretched’ from this same album
Can’t believe this album was released 25 years ago, god that makes me feel old.
Happy b day smokey!!

He has two sons now 👍

Darkest Days is a great album, my favourite track has to be On Your Way Down.
@@jameswarner5809 Yes! Excellent song. Hear that Rappers React? Another great suggestion right here

NIN definitely REZNORates with me
This song holds so memories for me. 🖤
I'm pretty sure they said that they just named it Nine Inch Nails bc it sounded cool in an acronym and for no real reason
It's about time for NIN Saturday

LEGENDARY! Trent influenced so many people and musicians! GOATED!
Can yall do the new Babymetal BxMxC live that was released recently on their channel? Su sounds so amazing in it. She adds some extra sass to her singing.
This is only the second song I have heard from them.
It’s a really good song 😊
Listen to the whole album it’s fantastic
So many good songs in this album, fxck.
One of my fav. NIN albums. Definitely listen to it in it's entirety
Please God keep reacting to this album and NIN songs. We need a day of the week like tool for NIN reactions. Come on you guys! Give the NIN fans what they want. Hell a lot of them are tool heads too like me.
The dancing girls on In Living Color or called The Fly Girls
Right on for giving Trent his flowers on this! Such a dope artist. This song should be sung around camp fires. Living FRAGILE right now
No glitch with the image of the album cover there; that is the actual album cover. I love this record so much, I overplayed it so many times to the point in which both discs began to skip and I had get a replacement, lol...

Somewhat Damaged is heavy but a great song since the album is pretty much about his low point in heroin and addiction. Amazing work.
Also shout out to you mentioning Elliott Smith!
NIN reaction, lets goooo!!!!!!
Check out "The Wretched" and "No You Don't" off the same album
This really shows how Trent was the one behind Old Town Road lol
There are parts of this song that remind me of The Beatles. The entire The Fragile double-album is a masterpiece though. As for NIN recommendations, I think you guys would love Somewhat Damaged, the opening track from The Fragile.
Fear Factory!!! Powershifter!!!
Did you mean “Pitchshifter”
@@rkoutz no Powershifter off of the album Mechanize
Fragile is one of my favorite NiИ songs and the Fragile is my favorite NiИ Halo(album)🤘🏼
Love me some NIN.
Loving the channel guys.
Please react to

FYI: fragile was used in "A Christmas Story" 1983 first
Morning guys! I love NIN! Trent is such an artist! Ministry is a great industrial band! There's a certain song by ministry but I can't think of the name right now damnit lol!😂🤓🙃
The movie that "Fraa gee laay" came from was "A Christmas Story" with Ralphie and Flick, not Dumb and Dumber.
i highly recommend branching out into Death Grips. industrial horror rap would be right up you alley
I'd call Elliott Smith emotional, plaintive, impactful... A lot of things. I don't think I'd call him chill. He was very much in the same vein as Reznor. Everything was a story of introspection.
The Wretched is another great song from The Fragile!
Tite pik! On a side note, Trent's a helluva shot I hear...Lol 💥
Lets Fucking Gooooooo!!! This just made my day
Chorus was 🔥

NIN live is the best!
how do we request songs to your channel?
You guys need to check out Night Verses. From the gallery of sleep and Every Color… Fantastic stuff 🤘🤘
Trent has been known to refer to heroin in terms of a woman.
Do voodoo by Godsmack
