Trent's style matured over time. I was a huge fan of the Broken, Downward Spiral (and Further Down the Spiral) with also The Fragile. But just about everything he puts out I also like because of the sound design he's gotten into. I studied Sound engineering and his stuff tickles my ears now :) May I recommend looking up "NIN Beautiful Nightmare" on TH-cam. It takes one of his songs from The Slip and makes it a power-self-hate-ballad.
If you like this one, you'd love the songs "All Time Low" and "Satellite" from this same album. "All Time Low" in particular has been compared to an electro-industrial Prince song.
hell yeah! finally some recent NIN. check out "disappointed" from the same tour, its a mind blower. my other suggestion would be satellite or god given from reznor's recent discography.
