@HowToCookSmarter If a person can’t eat nuts what do you suggest to substitute that with or how to switch up remaining crust ingredients replacing the nut portion? Thanks!
@@HowToCookSmarter I know you realize that processed sugar is an epidemic that is killing all of us slowly and insidiously. Guess you don't know, honey has MORE sugar in it per teaspoon than a teaspoon of granulated sugar does. And any honey that is liquid and you can pour it, is PROCESSED, man has tampered with it with a heat method and it IS pure sugar no kind of nutrients in it at all, very unhealthy, again, research it. I love the ideas here, and this is very similar to the blueberry cheesecake I make for my diabetic father _(blueberries are apparently good for diabetics, but I'm not a doctor so check for yourself)._ I make the blueberry topping a slightly different way, though, so I thought I'd share: Take about 2 cups of frozen blueberries, a couple of tablespoons of water, 1 tablespoon of sweetener _(I use Splenda, but honey is probably fine too),_ and a pinch of salt. Cook it all together on low heat in a large saucepan until it's a little thinner than you want on your cheesecake as it will thicken up a bit when it cools. The pectin in the blueberries thickens the sauce naturally, but you can add a cornstarch slurry _(2 tbsp water plus 1 tbsp cornstarch, mix until the starch is dissolved then stir into the blueberry mixture while it's cooking)_ if you want it thicker. That's it. It's just blueberries, a little water to get the cooking started, a tiny bit of the sweetener of your choice, and a hint of salt to brighten up the flavor. You can obviously also add lemon juice or cinnamon or other add-ins as you like, but I usually don't. Have a wonderful day, and thanks for the recipe :-)

Hi! Thanks for trying it out!
Will the chia seeds still gel the blueberries if I grind the chia seeds finely first. I know some people don't cope well with the seeds getting trapped in their teeth? Fab work thank-you so much xxxx
This recipe made me so happy because I'm a real cheesecake addict 😆 Can I use greek yogurt instead of heavy cream ? Because heavy cream has lots of calories and I have extra creamy greek yogurt in the fridge, does it work as heavy cream ?
Burke, cottage cheese can also be put in a blender to make " whipped cream"; I do sweeten it up w/a touch of honey, maple
syrup, vanilla, cinnamon
It looks delicious and healthy. Thanks for the recipe.❤
Thanks for watching!
