Remember what happened when Christine Blassey Ford publically accused Brett Kavanaugh of sexual abuse? All the Democrats instantaneously believed Ford, while all the Republicans instantaneously took a vested interest in making Ford look like a pathological liar. Everyone arbitrarily decided who to believe based on who they like more. These accusations quickly become a popularity contest. Matthew Santoro was smart. When he told his domestic abuse story to anyone who would listen, he did not mention the alleged abuser by name. When everyone got a strong suspicion that he was talking about Nicole Arbour, Santoro did not confirm or deny these rumors. Arbour dug her own grave, by name calling Santoro on social media. She tried to discredit him, she ended up discrediting herself. She would have been better off not throwing in her two cents at all.
I hate that parents of young stars let people tell their kids that their life is over if they don’t do what they say. They should be the ones advocating for their kids wellbeing. They probably let others do this because they’re still getting to know the industry and trust the people who are “helping and guiding them.” The kids should constantly be reminded that they don’t need to keep doing what they’re doing. That their patents will be supporting them no matter what they chose to do. I can’t imagine being a child and feeling like you have to provide for your family. It’s the parents job!!! @BigBoy123 there’s a big difference between the words “alleges” and “affirms”. One is used to undermine in a way much like how you said “she may be lying”, “she has no proof”... and the other one is used to give credit. Affirms means she said she was raped it’s up to you to believe it or not (because btw, there’s other proof to sexual assault other than physical evidence, not enough to convict someone else for it but enough to prove she’s not lying. Drug abuse, depression, eating disorders, su***de attempts for example). Alleges and claims are used to undermine until further notice. Since she’s not accusing anyone of this, she didn’t disclose his name and she said she didn’t want to either (because sexual assault victims know how this is something hard it is to prove and are mortified of people like you who say “she may be lying”) so there is absolutely no use to use this term.
@DEntertainment she’s not reporting him, she’s not even saying his name. She’s not taking him to court, all she’s doing is sharing her story and even without blaming anyone specially people still chose to protect the nameless faceless man
@DEntertainment first of all, what? Seriously... what? Second of all you think it’s sad that women are starting to stick up for each other like men are used to doing? Do you know that women falsely accusing someone of rape is one of the lowest occurrences? No, you rather accuse someone of being a sheep rather than stop being a sheep yourself. And btw, get used to the feeling of being reported by women, we’re taking our voices back, we’re not shutting up and we’re bringing all rapists down one by one no matter who gets ✨uncomfortable✨. Bye
Ugh, that's horrible. It's bad enough for anyone to get raped, but when you're still a virgin having no idea what to expect. I’ve had a few experiences of sexual assault. My first was when I was a child like 6 or 7 years old. It’s a bit of a blur what age I was but I was in my last year of infants school. A 16 year old called Scott( don’t know his surname) said did I want to play mummy and daddy thinking that I would be playing with dolls. It quickly became clear that that was not the case. He took me into a bush and I was led on the floor and he grinded up against me with his boxers on and then pulled out his … and at that age I knew that was wrong. I said no and told him (so I could get away) let me tell my mum I will be outside a little longer so she doesn’t worry to which he said okay. I got home and burst into tears in my room and didn’t tell my mum for years. The second time was I stayed round a mates house. He knew me since I was a kid and used to skateboard with my dad and other people that I grew up with. But we grew a friendship when I was abit older and I thought we were quite close. He helped me get my first job at a bar and I was close with his girlfriend and worked with her. Then they broke up and I had just got out of a relationship. I stayed at his like I had many times before and nothing happened the other times. This time though I woke up to him fingering me and shouted wtf do you think you’re doing! I ran downstairs in his bathroom and cried for an hour before I could think of what to say and what to do. I came up into his room and said I really wanna fucking punch you right now but I can’t look at you and don’t wanna touch you. I still feel awful about it. He told people I went to the police and reported it and stupidly I didn’t. I didn’t wanna relive it or talk to lots of people about it but after years of suffering and feeling dirty and have this pain I’m not afraid anymore. He stupidly unblocked me on Facebook and the temptation to call him out is always in my mind when I see his name commenting on my friends post. I lost friends because they listened to his story. Because I couldn’t tell my story till years later. His name is Robert Buchanan (milky)
Remember Joe Jonas said in that tell-all back in ‘13, that he really saw all the troubles she was dealing with. Well, seeing as this was *after* the assault - I guess we know why now... ☹️

The allegations of sexual assault to levied at Brett Kavanaugh by Christine Blassey Ford have proven one thing; that whenever an abuse accusation goes public and the alleged perpetrator is mentioned by name, there is a 100% chance that the public will arbitrarily decide who they believe based in who they like more. Matthew Santoro was smart. When he was abused, he did not mention the alleged perpetrator by name. Nearly everyone has a strong suspicion that he was talking about Nicole Arbour. Nicole dug her own grave when she basically admitted that it was her who he was talking about. She would have been better off remaining silent about the matter.
Her story is so sad and attached my heart I knew that she was really going through something cuz she was like a totally different person on screen then she was off I didn't know at such a young age she was sexually assaulted
@BigBoy123 ok no. using words like “ alleges “ keeps REAL victims from coming foward about their experiences, as it makes them feel like people won’t believe them. plus, false assault cases aren’t as common as youre making them out to be. so using words like “alleges” or “claims” literally invalidates a victim’s experience. and no, its believe the potential victim first, and if the alleged rapist has things proving otherwise, you go from there. i’d rather believe a potential liar over a potential rapist.
@BigBoy123 murder ≠ rape. its much easier to prove a person is a murderer than to prove a person is a rapist. the reason we say guilty until proven innocent is because the “innocent until proven guilty” mindset has made it to where tons of rapists get away with their crimes, because of lack of proof. this causes victims to stay silent on their experiences. its not difficult to understand, really. plus, you’re putting someone’s reputation over someone’s literal experience with being raped. also, why would she even lie about this? for “fame”? she’s already a extremely well-known celebrity, make it make sense. maybe instead of focusing on protecting the alleged rapist, you should focus on protecting the victim.
Mind you I’m an old guy that can never fully be in her shoes, but I have a daughter and unfortunately she went through something similar in the industry, but isn’t her statement contradicts itself? She said she’s coming out with her me too because she wants girls to feel like they can do so, but she’s NOT DOING SO! My daughter never wanted to come out with it because she didn’t want to feel like a victim and I get that and respect it, although as a man, having also experience, I would argue that why keep this a secret? Let the chips fall where they may, otherwise it gives the appearance that is just for lucrative reasons for the documentary. How will girls or women come out and say if she doesn’t? It can’t be half ways just as you can’t have your cake and eat it too.

Tell your legal team that you don't have to say "alleged". She never said anyone's name.
Why not name him? I mean no disrespect to rape victims, and as a woman who has never been through something as horrible as that (besides sexual assault and harassment), I've never understood why victims don't name them, report them, etc. Can anyone educate me on this?
I’m not specifically talking about her mother but I’ve always heard other star talk about how they felt like they needed to keep going because they had to help their family.

ET needs to change the title because that is totally unacceptable
Oh the “alleges” bomb. To all you women who people “allege” to believe, I believe you 💕 we stand together.
@BigBoy123 this is not an “innocent until proven guilty” situation. She didn’t name him. All she said was that it happened. This “alleges” is protecting a John Doe while calling some who is sitting right there, who has a name, a face and is speaking out about something very hard, a liar.
She’s not taking him to court, all she’s doing is sharing her story and even without blaming anyone specially people still chose to protect the nameless faceless man
@DEntertainment any physical evidence you mean because the psychological evidence has been SCREAMING for years and that’s why this is so disrespectful
Bye
Warrior makes a whole lot of sense now.
Ugh, that's horrible.
It's bad enough for anyone to get raped, but when you're still a virgin having no idea what to expect. It's probably affected every single sexual experience she's ever had since then. How can you ever think of sex in a good way when your first time was rape? That's just so terribly sad.

I am so sorry this happened to you.
Hope you find peace from The Lord, Hod be with you

Alleges? Get out of here ET! 🤬👊🏽💥
