I was all ears to this session.
And I can say that I have achieved the goal and 🎯 target of F.I.R.E as per your calculations..
But yes I still want to keep working at leisure and go into hibernation or sabbatical in between..
    Thanks for a wonderful session

FIRE .. primary means ....' No required to work for money ' ...!
Besides Saving 70% saving , more important Is being diligent in investment...& The time given for your investments to compound..
FIRE can't be a random thought..

Retiring early means a lot of liabilities still to be taken care of. It will require more fund and more disciplined future expenses. But yes, it will make our life free from working for money.

Very good discussion. FIRE is fascinating but at least in India it comes with lot of reality checks, especially we still have huge goals like child education and marriage, home etc

Don't understand why the withdrawal rate should be 3% in India? Shouldn't it be higher compared to USA as interest rate is higher here?

Retiring early doesn't means seating idle in your home. It means after that you can do whatever you like. Currently if you are already doing something which you enjoy than you don't have to retire from that work

I don't agree with Gaurav Jain. matlab present mein kaam and save nahi karenge toh future will not be as bright as we want. according to him, matlab when we were children tab toh bohut kucch sacrifice karke we study in the hope of establishment of our career and future. toh tabhi nahi karna chahiye . what bullshit.
