Sweet! Chrome capture! Very nice! Tough fishing in high water, most fish are holding in different spots, soft edges, hard against the bank, soft side of current seams, etc. Scent can help. Eggs? Hell yes! Thanks, Brian!
Nice slab capture!! Looks Olympic mossy cold😊 only way to go for the winter runs, used to fish the Hoh river in the early 90’s up in Washington but I left for the sunshine full time in 2002! Only got your vids to relive the memories so thank you
I fished some high water last week and was able to reach a branch and grab 3 bobbers and some beads and a jig on the same branch. Gold mine! Easier to find in high water but harder to land in my opinion. Lost a tanker. Great looking chrome! Nicely done!
Yeah, the fish have been moving up and all the way into the trap! I wish it wouldn’t rain so hard, lol I want it to rain enough to get the water up, but not so much that the fish are ripping up the rivers like they’re on the Audubon
Dude should be checking if its a hatchery first before pinning the fish to the ground like that. Should check before sliding it up the bank really but for sure before you manhandle it like it. He seemed the type who gets so excited they forget to check...
I wouldn’t be so quick to judge that, he’s an excellent fisherman and he probably already verified visually. I was just checking it out as I was running the camera watching him handle his fish.

I guess I’ve met my match with fishy skills. Kris is a good stick and I’m glad he got on a silver bullet!

Awesome, welcome aboard! Glad you are part of our group
Nicely done guy's great looking fish 🐟. Little bit of chrome.
Thanks!!
Great video 😊
Thanks 😊!! Happy New Year 🎊
Lol, on the checklist to bring next time is a pole saw for those low branches 😂
Yeah, come on. It’s nothing that waiters in a little bit of brute force can’t handle.
That's a nice one.
Yeah, that was pretty fortunate considering the high water
Huge fan here man😊
Awesome!!🤩 Thank you for being one of us!!
great fish 🔥🔥🔥
Don’t get cleaner than that!! Maybe bigger but it’s the only one we got that trip

I love finding river treasures🤩
Sounds like you hit the JACKPOT!!
@ I was pretty happy!!
Got a nice one yesterday. Saw you drive by the hatchery.
Yeah, my buddy and I drove by there after the morning session. We had to take a break and go get some food.
I was waiting for a nose dive as you were pruning that tree.....goog looking steely though!
Ha ha, it was definitely about a foot higher than I had expected when I started going deep out there
Do you ever run spawn sacks?
I did some of that years ago but not lately
High water fishing is always a challenge! But I've heard drifting is the way to go: surface water is always moving faster than the bottom water.
That’s very true! Get down slow and low
Nice fish guys. That high water will make the fish move up the river.

Nice going guys a even blind squirrel find a nut
Yeah, Pete, that was a big surprise in my opinion that we ended up catching something
Brain that short bass rod would be a decent twitching rod, little on the short side but use what you have (right)
That is definitely a really good ride, the fact that it’s a one piece gives me even more confidence to try and smash a Steelhead with it
I have seen a few caught 3-4 feet off the bank in high off colored water.
Yeah, that totally makes sense since the water is blowing out pretty fast
I'm out chasing bigger meat pile cow elk hope to get out later this month😊
Good luck out there! Hope you get a big one!
Headed out soon myself but water is still.high...
Good luck out there!!
I thought Barber dogging was drift fishing with training wheels????
I don’t know?🤷
Plunk it?
I don’t know much about plunking.
