Should be able to play PS3 though not all games may run. On my older i7-3770 (4c/8t) emulation system I can play about 75% of PS3/PSN games without any problem. So could be the same for a system like this if some of the tested games don't play properly. Especially the harder more system intensive games
I was thinking this myself as I have a Onexplayer 5800u and it runs most ps3 games without issues. Most likely Rpcs3 needs to be updated to a newer version.
I haven't owned a PC in years, but still have my Win 95/98 CD game collection. Do you think any of the mini PCs you looked at would be a good fit for me to enjoy those games again?
I have over a dozen desktops of different years, for that CD i would look at picking up a slightly older desktop PC, start off with Windows 10, then try Windows 7 and try compatibility mode, some of the games you'll need an older OS, and pickup a case that has a DVD Drive slot or you could try a CD Drive that uses USB Cable
Do you have any experience with trigkey 5800h or beelink ser5 max? Is there a difference? Both brands offer a 32gb, 1tb ssd option. So I’m not really sure what to go for. Any recommendations?
I have an older hp omen gifted to me ,with an i7 , GTX 1070 graphics card ,and 16 gb ddr4 ram dual channel. Will this drive, or similar ones work well with my computer ?
Yes, using the 8bitdo Pro 2. its available on Amazon here: amzn.to/3tu4k1L Its my favorite controller to use... can be used on PC or the Nintendo Switch, has a slider button on the back to select which so you don't have to keep resyncing it to whatever you want to use it on.
😊 2TB is too small, just my GOG library downloaded to my server drive takes up 6TB's and thats not even installing anything, now add my complete downloaded Steam library and ur looking at 12TB's total
The Vega graphics in the 5800H are pretty weak if you want to play anything modern. Also pretty dated too. I've seen 6800u 680m systems for not that much more or around the same price.
Or even the lowest Steam Deck tier. There is that surprising X86 SBC board at $109 for 8 gb. RAM right now for emulation that plays PSP up to Gamecube. At PS2 and above not so much.

Last time I was this early, it was still "only two weeks to flatten muh curve"
0:14 - "... a little over a hundred bucks". Where?
It is £400 in the UK

Is there an out of the box PC you would recommend for most compatibility? Price isn’t as much a concern as compatibility
Sheesh, it's 400 Bucks
You mostly pay a premium for the 5800H, still too expensive though.
Man exactly what I was thinking
Yeah wow
The bad thing is sometimes doesn't have games that you want

Jag-you-are.
what is the software emulator installed in that mini PC?
I didn’t see Xbox Xbox 360 and Xbox One

If you want you can use a pack for it then
Does it come with games loaded on it?
Are you using a controller? If so, what controller works?

Wow!! Youre the coolest!!!!!!!
that play-zone is a piece of junk. Most of the games are in French. Runs janky
Awfful PC, Noise like a Boing Jet.
Support on site useless, 0 help.
$400 I’ll just keep stacking Fetch Rewards and get my PS5 instead

I prefer to buy PC Games on the cheap, buying bundles on Fanatical and Humble
