Hi, can you please help. My USB isn't detected at all by any device (plug it in, nothing happens) all the guides so far involve the USB actually being detected. It flashes blue at the very start of me plugging it in, then nothing. Nothing in device manager, no light indicating the USB drive is active.
Superglue leaked around my USB and got everywhere and completely sealed the plug-in. I tried digging it out as much as I could after soaking it in some acetone and goo-gone. Am I SOL?
Hello, my WD external HD fallen one time, I can access the files but i had the feeling it will be dead so i started copying my files but the issues that it takes ages to copy few files then some times get me error messages and the HD get hot. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated
HDDs get hot, just monitor it, if it goes over 48 (this is just the temperature i get uncomfortable when a drive is that hot) then just pause the transfer and unplug it.
