These two years have certainly been a trying time for the entire world. Whenever I feel the need for a pick-me-up, I watch one of your vlogs. You always cheer me up and put a smile on my face. One of my uni friends had a completely blue wardrobe: jeans in various washes, tops, cardigans, dresses, joggers and jumpers in every shade of blue imaginable (sky blue, turquoise, cobalt, cornflower, royal, navy…).

In one of the coffee chains that I have worked in, we weren’t actually allowed to serve hot water to ppl. Something to do with them not being insured if someone spilt it on themselves cus they hadn’t actually bought it off of the menu. U are right tho, there are a lot of ppl who do just enjoy it

Keep the Birkenstocks! They look perfect on you. It is fun to find cool socks to wear with them. So easy to be creative and bring a little joy to the day. I even learned to knit socks just to wear with Birkies. Noro yarn is beautiful. Once they mold to your foot it is hard to switch to a style forward shoe. Hope you enjoy them!

Working from home tip: have a dedicated space. Don't use it for entertainment, rest, anything else but studying and working. It doesn't have to be a room, in my case it's just a desk I don't use any other time (I work from home for over two years and I have a very small flat), I only sit there for work. It creates mental barrier that helps both ways - your brain learns to focus in there, but also getting up switches you to non-work state, so it's easy to disconnect when you need to.

I definitely feel you with the lockdown thing. I became a better version of myself during lockdown and i actually had a nice 2020 but last year was the worst year ever. and trying to adjust with covid and having a social life again was hard. I got gallstones and was ill most of the year, i started my own small business and went into a hole. the first two months of this year i was in such a dark hole and now i'm finally seeing a brighter place and slowly easing myself back into the real world of no restrictions.
I love birkenstocks, they're just the most comfy!!!! Keep them only if you like them and have ideas on how to wear these!

The start of this video gave me anxiety.. had to keep replaying the subtitles as my pause button didn't work and they were going so quick.
Go to the library Grace to work thats what I do! You can pack some snacks and a flask of hot water find yourself a quiet study spot with a good lookout pop your headset on and away you go best thing gets you out of the house, free WiFi and no pressure to buy when you dont want to.
Had the worst day today but a grackle video always makes it better

So I've started asking for tea but with the teabag on the side that way you can have your hot water and a teabag if you want to take it home too!

My girl has worn Birks for years, with socks, cause it's cold in Canada! Funny how excited we get for snow in the fall heading into winter, but by April we are done with it! Haven't had a 17C day yet, but I'm sure we'll have one or two before it's 29C June 1...that's what it does where I am. Spring temps for two days then hot and humid for 3 months...oh well, nice to have the changes.

Re the Dyson air wrap: if you’re desperate for it, go to John Lewis as they have them to trial and practise doing it yourself. I tried one my friend had and just couldn’t get it to pick up my hair properly and it would be just as time consuming as a normal wand. The hair dryer attachment was great and dried my hair really fast but I was disappointed with the air wrap 😕 also see if there’s a coworking space where you live. We have one near me where you pay £6 for the day but they have free drinks and cake and comfy sofas and tables to work at so you can stay as long as you like but not get distracted like at home

I’m a cetaphil fanatic, cerave face products never worked for me either but they have a lotion for rough and bumpy skin and it saves my sensitive legs so much pain from razor burn!

I have some blue/grey sandal birks and I love wearing them when I am baking! So random but my toes get really cold quickly if I just wear socks. I am really funny about slippers so I have a socks and sandals moment whilst baking 🤣

Grace ! Next time you want a hot water in a cafe but feel too awkward, just ask for tea with the teabag on the side - and then you can just drink the hot water and take the teabag home with you !
Re: not wanting a hot drink at the cafe, but having to buy one to sit there. Go sit in the library!! These days most have a comfy area with a cafe vibe. Some even have a cafe! Free wifi, and the staff will be happy to have you there, if you’re reading, working, or just mincing about! 😂
