• Session #10B of 12. The Trinity is one of the greatest issues that separate Christianity from Judaism, making the two faiths absolutely irreconcilable. Using the texts of the Jewish Bible and the Christian New Testament, Rabbi Michael Skobac sheds much-needed light on this age-old issue. This video is part #10B of a 12-part lecture series entitled the "Counter-Missionary Survival Seminar". Questions should be directed to RabbiSkobac@JewsForJudaism.ca.
Thank you Rabbi Skobac, as a former Christian, I have been doing my own research for just over 3 years now and I have to say, I and all other Christians have been lied to! I have found more freedom in studying the Hebrew Scriptures then I did spending my whole life as a 'Christian'..May Yah continue to bless you, Shalom :)
Holy mackerel. A rabbi reading the NT with greater clarity than most "BIble-believing christians" I know.
I grew up Jehovah Witness. So maybe that is why I eventually found myself converting to Judaism! Thanks Rabbi for another great lecture!
Spoke with the Rabbi on the phone for 35 minutes. Very helpful man.
Thank you Rabbi, I am a Noahide, thanks to your teachings.
Thanks to the Torah now the Truth has been revealed, I used to be a devout Christian since childhood but now the Truth set me free from Christianity's idolatrous doctrines.
Thank you for the clarity of your message. There’s so many different denominations of Christian and only one Judaism. Judaism hasn’t changed or broken so I know who the tru God is!!!!! Praise His Holy Name.
I love your lecture, Rabbi. I'm a Gentile who left Christianity following years of theological and church history studies at college and on my own. Of all the deceptive tricks that frustrate me, the greatest occurs when evangelical fundamentalist trinitarian ministers try to paint a picture that everyone in the earliest church completely understood and embraced the concept of the Trinity in it's fullness, then later only defended it from heretics with later church councils: That's completely false. The Trinity grew out of Christological debates covering the first 4 centuries of Christian history and still didn't address the "person" of the Holy Spirit until much later. You bore that out in your opening and I appreciate it.
Best teacher i've ever met. Thank you rabbi Scobac!
Bravo, Rabbi, that was my first instinct when I first read the bible but Christian teachers pounded my head with their interpretations and I started to believe them, wow on the fact that I was brainwashed and never stuck to my guns on what was plain and clear. Thank you Rabbi on your teaching in the Brit Hadassah as well. Its been confirming and a blessing listening to you, Shalom.
I think some people get "freaked out" by the power of Hashem. This whole trinity thing "humanizes" G-d, which some people like, which I of course personally reject totally.
Good job rabbi , you absolutely Expose this false doctrine!!!
thank you for not twisting our doctrines though denying them the honesty of what you teach about Christianity is a blessing compared to what some other religions do to our doctrines knowingly, it shows the integrity of Gods chosen Isreal
The Rabbi rocks.
Christianity makes no sense to me? How is Jesus G-d in the flesh? I don't think that is possible.
great work I hope all Christians and muslims espically those jews who may have come to believe in jesus come to judaism
This Rabbi certainly knows more than my Priest
I have been a Christian my entire life and now i realize Jesus is not what I was taught..i have always believed in God and i am no longer a Christian
thank you Rabbi Michael
Talk about "Blind Faith" on the part of the Christians!
True words! May God bless you! :) Trinity is a pagan/philosophical adding from the Church. How can God the Greatest be three? Glory to him! He is far more of what they associate him with. He is omnipotent, no need to have a son.
BH' that idolatry is ending.
I dropped the trinitarian belief years ago when I read the Shema with true understanding. But I do enjoy hearing good sound doctrine on the subject. I basically call myself as one who fears Jehovah God and tries to receive his wisdom through prayer and study. I try to follow his instructions in the Hebrew bible and what some of the new testament says. I believe even many of the NT followers of Jesus the teacher were Torah observant. I believe Jesus was Torah observant who prayed to the one true God Jehovah our heavenly father. There is none but him.
This Rebbe knows his stuff.....
Love this man teachings
Keep these great videos coming.
It appears, Christendom either misunderstands, in denial or elects not to understand the concept of Hashem and what he is not, to maintain their template or foundational base of a trinity.
This is a very compelling argument. Academically, it's gets a 4.00. It's a shame that Orthodox Judaism is so very difficult to convert to and embrace. I wouldn't choose to embrace that form of Judaism myself, but I could understand someone wanting to. The Noahide movement seems undefined and periphereal.
The trinity is paganism m
Research " Johanna comma debate, Tertullian, 1john5:7-8, Trinity, Arius".
Church admits inventing and adding this idolatrous notion into the NT after Nicaen council burning all who objected alive as heretics(Arians and Jews) for the next 1200 years.
Verify this and debate is a moot point. Tertullian who invented it later rejected it himself as idolatry.
Paul was the self appointed "apostle to the gentiles" as any Jew would have immediately saw him for the false prophet he obviously is. Paul admits in Galatians he preaches a different gospel than Peter and Jesus' brother James and Paul's interpretations of Hosea and Habakkuk prove he didn't know Tanakh at all.
Lucid, excellent. We only have to read a few Psalms to learn that Jehovah God as an individual is “I, the Most High, myself, me, him, his, Jehovah, God, Almighty, our God, Sovereign…”. Jesus knew (as a Jew) that they worshipped only Jehovah “in truth”. John 4. … JWs had quite a push a few years ago on countering the Trinity. It doesn’t get mentioned much now, either in literature nor by evangelicals in the ministry. Many better NT translations have shown the error of earlier English versions.

Rabbi Scobac is Yah-some.
Rabbi Skobac, you have so much in common with Yaʿaqov...in that you wrestle with Elohim ḥayyim himself.
Do as Jacob did and ask to be blessed.
