As an American I don’t know if I have even seen anybody wearing a Man City jersey walking around. I’ve seen Madrid, Barcelona, Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea. So the fan base and commercial deal is very interesting.

It happens because when your sponsors are owned by the same people, they’re able to inflate the value of a sponsorship because it’s all your money anyways. I’ve been saying this for years, I’m wondering if perhaps they finally found a way to prove that the value man city were reporting these sponsorships deals at were complete rubbish. The exact same thing happened about three years ago and all that ended up being given was a fine that was worth a quarter of an Enzo Fernandez at most, despite the potential punishment. It shouldn’t be a surprise if Man City don’t get punished

UEFA had a statute of limitations of 5 years, which most of those charges were outside of that window.
This is the FA, and there is no statute of limitations, and there are far more charges.

Not only that Premier League rules also state that even if City tried to appeal to CAS they cannot overturn any sanctions imposed by the Premier League, so if the Independent adjudicator The Premier League have put in place to oversee the case finds City guilty there is nothing City can do to overturn the punishment the Premier League hands out.
They won’t get a real punishment. City have always kept blackmail evidence on other clubs. If city go down they’re taking everyone else with them. We’re gonna have burnley being champions after everything is done

What does spending lots of money after buying a new club have to do with someone doctoring their sponsor money, wages etc to inflate their earnings and income over almost a decade. Chelsea have been dominant for the past 30 years and have built a global fan base to compete with any club in the world. In addition they have just had their debt wiped out during the sale

Attempted rapist or rapist, same difference really and the same term is used for both. With both of their testimony Greenwood most likely would have been found guilty in court, but even that doesn't matter where it concerns United because everyone knows what has been going on and what sort of person Greenwood is. You don't want filth like that in your club.

Chelsea have never "fiddled " the system and have never been found to have been in breach of any FFP rules even after been put on a " watch " list , Roman was in favour of FFP . FFP does not provide a level playing field it just protect the big clubs .

The UEFA investigation threw up discrepancies between the actual value of the sponsorship and the higher value reported on City's balance sheet. If he owned the sponsor that sort of shenanigans wouldn't have been necessary and they wouldn't have been caught. Incidentally Man City never denied UEFA's charges just that the e-mails which blew the whistle were obtained illegally.
The sham sponsorship deals from in some cases small Middle East companies that have helped to inflate City's revenue are almost certainly funded by City's owners. I've also always thought that the owners have arranged for payments to be transferred to clubs and players through third parties into secret Caribbean bank accounts to hide them from football authorities. Everything indicated that City's owners think that they can buy anything and act by hook or crook with impunity. The arrogance of Arab oil money along with a culture that anything you can get away with is perfectly reasonable drives all of this. City needs to be practically put out of business to send a strong message to anyone else who might be doing the same thing or is planning to do so. This will first have to go through a prolonged legal battle before it reaches a conclusion.
