I ordered the front carpet and hood vents and they both look spectacular. However, just a word of warning to my fellow Americans ordering from Mike. Although Mike ships out the orders VERY promptly, be prepared to wait a long time for them to get through the US Postal system. My order sat in Chicago for nearly six weeks before the USPS finally processed it. This had nothing to do with Mike. He handled his end of the deal fantastically, but the international hubs for USPS are often notoriously slow. The mods are well worth the wait, but just be prepared to not be in a hurry for them.
I dont even have my set yet and i have this mod, the front carpets, and the power mod in my cart ready to order. Thanks for the videos. Watching these have gotten me really excited for my own set when it comes. I know i will be coming back to these when the time comes.
The EM Ecto already has the correct interior for the rear. Over on the ghostbusters fan forum someone has obtained the screen used interior , the rear floor is circular grey rubber matting as EM have tried to recreate.
Yes the rear floor is correct where the Gurney sits but the jump seat area should be carpeted and there should be a grill on the wall area by the jump seat these are what Mike Lane has created from photos of The Ecto 1 that he has researched. Eaglemoss left these details out.
I ordered all of Mike Lane's interior mods and have been waiting over a month for them. Still waiting for his license plates and hood vents to come back in stock too. Hope Mike makes something to add the front parking lights and front grill strobes. It's a shame Eaglemoss skipped them.
Mike Lane is brilliant. What attention to detail! The grill and the runners or edges around the carpet is just another example of Mike's excellent work. Like MegahurtzLive, I too am waiting for Mike's Mods (for the DeLorean )- Yeiks Megahurtz.. 4 months? I ordered from Mike 6 weeks ago. I guess he's still MIA. 4 months? By the time I get my orders, I'll have 10 issues back logged!
Hello Wayne, great video mate, I love the mods to the vehicle, they really do make all the difference to it, also a hat tip to Mike Lane, well done, Lee.
Great looking mod Wayne. I've just ordered the front carpeting and battery wrap for this build, I just hope EM can get the backorder situation straightened out (still waiting on kit 14).
Love your videos Wayne I just ordered 1701D kit after seeing your start build, like my Essex relatives when you say Free instead of Three I do wince a bit too but I forgive you.
Looking good. I ordered the front and rear carpet set as well as the seat back set myself. Been holding off on assembling what I have till that comes in. Im thinking about cutting where the vent grill goes and creating a small styrene box to give the illusion of being open. Just have to wait till it comes in so I can see how much trouble im looking at to do that and maintain enough lip for the grill to stick in place. Do you have any plans to do the strobe mod that Chole is working on as well as the illuminated/functional scope? Im kind of hesitant to start major assembly myself cause I want everything to function that should and I just hate the thought of disassembly to make changes like that after the fact.
I want to do this, but I've already spent enough money on this kit has it is and also I really don't want be undoing stuff!! was hard enough getting the stuff in, in the first place. 🤣
I wish the chronic down-voters would just bugger off and stop watching the channel entirely... If all you're going to do is downvote before even watching the video, then just stay off the channel...

What a difference the carpeting makes Wayne. Will be ordering every little extra from Mike very soon, so that I am prepared when the parts arrive.
Thanks very much for the video Wayne! I'm glad you like them and nice to see the model coming along!
these mods add so much realism to the model, love them

Mike Lane's carpet and grill with the trim is a excellent improvement to the jump seat area and really finishes that area off nicely.
Another nice mod from Mike Lane. Looks much nicer now.

Excellent improvements on the carpets, there at the backseat.

Wow I need this ! Great video as always Wayne.
loving the progress so far wayne keep up the great work.
I think the little screwdriver was from the R2 build, I have one too, it was for opening the battery cover if memory serves.
Great looking mod Wayne. I've just ordered the front carpeting and battery wrap for this build, I just hope EM can get the backorder situation straightened out (still waiting on kit 14).
never heard it called a “floor plan” until you. I’ve always heard “floor pan” but you be you. i’ll just wince privately every time you say it lol
My head thinks floor pan but my mouth says floor plan for some reason lol
@@WorldofWayneUK at least there is a good explanation lol

It is really hard to find interior shots of the car they used in the movie. Are these mods actually accurate?
I have seen some pics and they look to be
Do they have a mod for working strobe lights for the front grill and if so are you going to be adding them, just curious.
I think Mr Fusion Designs has that. www.mrfusiondesigns.com
@@WorldofWayneUK he has they're £65 but at the moment unavailable hope you managed to get one for yourself before they ran out.
Hmmmm. Neat
👍👍👍👍

£55 for something that was probably not on the real car used in the film. No thanks. But PilamBones. I didn't down vote the video.

Exactly! Wayne's videos are fantastic. I can't imagine how anyone would even think to downvote him.
