First, I freakin' love this channell. A go-to for out-of-the-way repertoire. Second, I think Potter is one of the better symphonists between Beethoven and Mendelssohn.
@@ymaysernameuay1113 Yes. For 20th century repertoire there is the Wellesz stream, made of many sup-channels like Wellesz Modern and Wellesz Theater. Bom Cabedal is similar to this channel and Bjarte Bartmann is great for music with score. That should keep you busy for a while lol. Hope Kuhlau doesn't mind these adverts in his comments.

Excellent initiative to resurrect more symphonies of Cipriani Potter, Kudos. Except #4, 8, 10 commercially available plus #6 you uploaded years ago and #7 uploaded by Bom Cabedal, the rest was missing and you are filling the gap with #1 and #3. Hope you'll be able to complete the set with still missing ones. İt's definitely a shame that mainstream media keep ignoring such a skilled composer.
@@Baton793 -- If only yours was a Usual Mind, not Sclerotic, it could be tractable...amenable to change. But it is not...and I am too old to commit my reserves even in good weather on open terrain.....
Is that so bad? You don't know whether that was intended! I am a composer myself and I cannot rule out that certain parts of my works are similar to other pieces. But that wouldn't be a problem either, it's even more interesting to see who influenced me.
Kuhlau, Do you think Howard Griffiths is planning to record the Potter symphonies on the cpo label? Cpo has been his recording venue for recordings of early 19th-century symphonies.
