Jendrick is going to lose to the idiot Badenoch. No wonder he's on the run.

Shame on the Tories. They sink lower and lower.

This is an absolute disgrace by Jenrick. Over twelve months ago the vox pop coming from the delegates on the way out of the Tory Conference was disturbingly similar to Trumpian talking points. Very disturbing indeed.

I’m in Australia and listened to the new qld premier, right wing, anti choice, say the words, ‘hope over fear’, could that be more trumpian? There was no fear here, the rhetoric has already changed here and now abortion is being discussed. I thought it would take longer to seep here but apparently not

The only time that details of a criminal trial should become public is at the point of trial. Jenerick is a desperate man, he's losing to the second worst candidate in the race.

Robert...Jenrick....saying that public trust might be permanently damaged? *That* Robert Jenrick?
    Funny old world.

I'm glad you're talking about Jenrick. I think by the next election cycle the Conservative party may have congealed into a far right party sufficiently organised to be a compelling voting proposition.

What is the significance of a “Taylor Swift” dance class to this dreadful incident? Why not just a dance class?

If FPTP is to remain then a far right majority is on the cards very soon in the UK.

If I recall these 2 shot out the blocks to defend Huw Edwards. Didn't wait for the due process. How did that go?

Most commentators know that the next Tory leader will be in place in 2028/9.
It is a distraction from the fallout from the disastrous budget that has seen the pound plummet, interest rates sticking to thwart inflation and borrowing for businesses to fund employment will hurt everyone.
