Omar (simon) is a singer! This is actually his FIRST acting credit which is absolutely insane! Also, Kristina is the Queen but her husband isn't considered the King, he's just a consort! So Wilhelm will succeed Kristina. Fun fact about this episode, the entire football field scene and phone call was completely improvised by Edvin and Omar! A good bit of the show is improvisation actually but that part in particular blows my mind. Also idk if anyone has mentioned this in previous videos but shortly after season 1 of this show premiered the actual Swedish Royalty came out and said that if any of the royal family came out as queer they wouldn't care and it wouldn't affect succession or titles or anything!
It wasn't "entirely improvised", that's not what improv means. What it means is that he talked with the director about the intention of the scene, and the metaphores and parallelse they planned for, and then they didn't need to choreograph it, as long as he interacted with the props and did the things needed in the scene. The acting choices that didn't fit the story were cut during editing.

Also, they watch a lot of English language movies and shows with ENGLISH AUDIO but SWEDISH or whatever local language spoken SUBTITLES which is very interesting. Fun fact, the actors actually dubbed the WHOLE SHOW in English so if you were to watch it in ENGLISH AUDIO it is THEIR VOICES! “Edvin (the actor who plays Wilhelm) said in an interview that they dubbed themselves in English and Omar (the actor who plays Simon) said later on in the same interview that they read the lines in English after hearing them in Swedish.” That is why when they are singing in English it sounds really fluent and that is Omar’s real vocals and voice behind his character, he is an aspiring singer.

My hatred for August is unparalleled and it never ceases. Omar Rudberg (Simon) is properly famous in Sweden. He was part of a band that opened for One Direction and Justin Bieber. I've never heard any of One Direction or Justin Bieber's music, but apparently it made Omar REALLY famous in Sweden. Actors were super intimidated when auditioning for Wilhelm in scenes with Omar. At least Edvin Ryding (Wilhelm) said so.
I don’t hate August. He’s a complex and layered character. He makes a lot of bad choices. But Simon, Wilhelm, Sara, and Felice also make choices that aren’t really good.

But, thinking about his actions in the next episode, the shithead things he continues to do throughout the series, and the fact that he is a legal adult doing them, I personally just can't see past it. Yes, August has had hardship in his life, but that does not in any way mitigate the despicable choices he makes and his justifications for them. It's true that every character does bad things in this series, but NONE of them rise to the level of August. Period.
So the noble families are like the aristocracy. The head of the aristocracy is the royal family/monarchy. So basically all these noble families have owned land for hundreds of years and inherit their titles the same as the monarchy does. They all have each other's backs.

The dumbest and most irritating thing ever encountered was not just August as a character, but how neither Wilhelm nor Simon never rlly stop to think on CLOSING THE CURTAINS. bet they're too in love to even notice but still.. Plus to top it all off, the room was basically at the ground floor which means they're easily out in the open where someone can accidently stumble upon them or take a peek. As undercover as they are, they really failed the landing on that one. I got truly crazy and was worried for them at the same time during that scene.
