After the events of A-Day, Dr. George Tarleton was in a coma for 6 months after waking up George created AIM to help people and control the inhumans, but after discovering that Monica's cure was Captain America's blood that had turned into a technopath he became M.O.D.O.K and his goal was to rid the Earth of superpowers even if it cost him his life.
