Good job Barry, The only thing I could suggest is to have the dti directly in line with the rotation of the crown wheel as at 45deg it would be out a bit, but we are playing with tractors not space shuttles.

Hi Martin many thanks for taking the time to watch, as always your time is greatly appreciated, I love to hear the birds sing in the morning as it's a sign of good things to come, We are keeping our fingers crossed this year that bettie the black bird choses to nest hear again and raise her little ones in our garden. many thanks Barry
Nice job Barrie, I would think there are a lot of engineers (?) who wouldn't bother with end float and backlash checks, they would just bang it together. How come you get to use hand towels for cleaning up?I get old sacks!!
Hi Ken, I used to have some blue paper roll(posh eh!) then the price went ridiculous so now I've got to slum it with old towels and bedding, you should see the neighbours when I hang some of the old covers on the line to dry. many thanks Barry
Hi Benjamin, if you have a look at #51 as I'm building the gearbox I give a brief explaination of how to adjust the interaction of the pinion and crown wheel, I'll put another explaination in a weekly yarn, but it might be next weeks as I'll not be able to get it together for this sunday. many thanks for watching and your comments Barry
