Three years ago, I was laying in a Shock Trauma ICU, in a coma with Sepsis fighting for my life. The power of music!! My daughter would come in put headphones on me and play everything you and Marco had done. Without going on and on. Just know that I woke up and responded prior to waking up each time she had Nightwish on. So we in my family say, I am alive because of my favorite band. So thank you Floor.
Your story is so amazing to me. Really speechless!! So happy you pulled through. My dad had sepsis last year and was fighting for his life for 5 weeks... I was on the other side of the world but didn´t risk flying to him because I would have been stuck alone in a quarantine hotel for 2 weeks. The only thing that could help was listening to Nightwish.

When floor sings, it doesn't have to be strictly metal! "Muß nich!" Like we say! But i get (bad) goose flesh when i have to hear and see the original singers. So its good she loads um the songs here!
I made my 75 year old dad sit down with me and watch Nightwish. He asked if you were a goddess and my mom made this face 🤨 And now you have a song in German, which he learned when he was in his 20s and has kept up with. I can't wait to show him this! I am Dutch and live very close to the German border and have very close friends in Germany. Be carefull to jump to conclusions. We are blessed to have Floor, who is capable to sing in so many different languages.
It was also very nice to see Floor in a 'normal' surrounding: Not on stage, not being interviewed - just sitting there with new friends, having fun. You can see her beautiful character and how down to earth she is. I was impressed to see her tearing up after the guy with the guitar was playing a song... 😍
I just watched the show and the video version is fantastic. She is an amazing performer and she blew the roof off with her moves. At one point she dances up to the others on the sofa lets them have it from about 5 ft away. They were totally blown away. Her performance was extraordinary. It was actually better than the beste zangers. She moved around a lot more dancing and singing her heart out. One of them said before she even sang a note that they hoped she wasn't going to sing them to the wall. Unfortunately for them, that's exactly what happened

@@lekalla Generally yes. But firstly Franz Lehár was from Austria-Hungary and regionally the difference is insane. Even today, I as a native speaker do not understand much when people from Swabia or certain parts of Saxony or Bavaria talk in their dialect. Vocabularies differ widely, sometimes even sentence structuring. Secondly the Merry Widow (from which Vilja comes) is from the 1860s. As a contemporary German speaker you always feel as if you should understand it. But you really don't.
Believe me, that will be the case for EVERY song that she will perform on this show. Clueso is, among the german vocalists in this show, by far the most known and skilled one, and i haven't heard of him at all until recently when he performed at a gamescom online show project that was organized by some gaming streamers during quarantine.

Aber: auch die anderen fand ich gut, auch wenns ja eher nicht meine Musik ist. Nach Floor die für mich beste Performance: Lotte, fand die auf das wesentliche reduzierte Version von "Gewinner" sehr gefühlvoll vorgetragen.

Floor hat in dieser Show in einer völlig anderen Liga gespielt als der Rest der Protagonisten. Kein einziger konnte ihr nur im geringsten das Wasser reichen. Nur scheide, dass die wenigsten das verstehen. Diese Show war unter Flors Niveau.

I will never forget, when I saw you the first time at Wacken 2013. Since then I'm a big fan and it's nice to see you on german tv. It's a bit weird, but I never liked Clueso or his songs, but this version is so different and so much Floor. Awesome!

Your stage presence has matured over the years and since your new found popularity in the Pop world, I have seen you evolve into a world class entertainer. The feeling you put in your singing is manifested in your delivery so that you paint a picture, while you tell a story. A rare combination I must say. The version on the show live was perhaps your best cover to date and a truly brilliant arrangement of the song. Kudos Floor!

I can't stop replaying this on the vox streaming site. Seeing the video adds so much more to this fantastic performance. I can't stop replaying this on the vox streaming site. Seeing the video adds so much more to this fantastic performance.
