My husband did just that. He had a boss that kept an unsafe shop of unsafe rental equipment. He was verbally abusive. My husband put the word out he was looking…got an offer. Soon after the boss tried to send out a broken machine and my husband refused to help because it wasn’t safe to rent out. He was fired. He walked out with a smile. Called me then called the other job. Had a new one before he got home. We only have a small mortgage payment and we pay all the paper bills with my paycheck. It’s very freeing to be able to just walk away.

Wow his old boss is such a big baby. He couldn’t have his way so he fired him just for a little satisfaction lol I don’t know what he was trying to accomplish with the termination since he was leaving anyway lol. You are right about it being free to be able to walk away. My wife and I are debt free, with the exception of a little bit of student loan. We both work in a profession that’s in high demand. I’m an owner operator truck driver and my wife is a travel nurse. We can easily tell someone to “get bent “ at this point now.

I think there's a big difference between your husband and the caller's. Your husband showed his character and ethics and refused to act with dishonor. I have deep respect for him.
The caller's husband showed his immaturity and poor judgement by refusing to take a demonstrably safe vaccine to protect himself, her, his coworkers and others.
Dave may give good financial advice but his position on vaccine mandates is out-to-lunch.

Remote working companies are also requiring vaccinations. Because the current admin is requiring it for certain size companies.
I took the shot. It's a person's personal choice. I don't have a strong feeling either way. Do it or don't do it.
