Miss traditional bosses like this....sure they were easy but they were quite fun to fight.
You can make the game a lot harder but yes I agree. These bosses could be harder tho. Traditional doesn't mean easy, intact traditional bosses were a lot harder.
Nintendo should collab with FromSoft and have them make the bosses for a Zelda game. I sense a great many broken controllers.

exactly!! Breath of the wild is a great game but its seriously lacking with the bosses. Even other games like skyward sword. Excluding Ghirahim, its more of a chore than an engaging fight
@@makinley.s the monk from the dlc felt so fun to fight because it was a different boss fight. it felt so unique and idc if totk is still botw but i really want those unique boss fights back. calamity ganon himself did have a sick design tho. but the blights, although having different mechanics, just didn’t hit the same aesthetically.
I love the opening cutscene, just because of how powerful it makes Zant seem. "Oh, you've reached the end of the dungeon? Well, hold on a second while I bring this skeleton back from the fucking dead to fight you!"
I just find it funny that Zant is actually just a tantrum kid when you fight him.

Yes it is a stupid item, yes this boss is the best. The reason it is stupid is because you only use it 3 or 4 times in the game, if it would've been faster than walking maybe people would use it, but it's slow.

Did anyone else feel kind of bad for the boss in this one? This thing was clearly killed brutally and left to die, then just gets reanimated to die again like it ain’t no thing. No wonder he’s pissed. “YOU NEVER LET ME REST IN PEACE, DAMN IT.”

I like to think the swords in its skull are left over from people who tried to kill it and failed. It probably died having never lost a fight. (Or just one.)
Yeah, I do feel bad for it. Any time an animal is involved, I feel bad.
I do and it's surrounded by hylian soldiers, which means it was probably an arena people fought to the death in.

Dear GOD they annoyed me lol.I would always be excited after it was done because I liked the rest of the fight but was exasperated with the first part.
I remember entering the dungeon, looking at the dead skeleton and being all "Nope nope nope"

This was one of the most intimidating bosses in LoZ history, but the mid-stage boss was downright frightening for me when this game first came out.

Arbiter’s Grounds was a good dungeon in Twilight Princess. There was also the Zora (or Underwater, I forget at the moment) and the Snowpeak Mansion. I would have loved it if those were dungeons in “Breath of the Wild” or in the upcoming sequel
Snowpeak mansions first half was WAY too much fun and was super unique instead of just a temple, and the mirror actually doing something weird was just cool
Snowpeak was really fun. Didn't see the final boss coming lol
BotW was extremely lacking in the dungeon department

@ yeah I found it so hard to aim an arrow at his eye while he was stomping towards me, it just got me so shaken up.
Overlord Pepe I’m responding two years later because I’m replaying the game (😂) but I definitely think the creepy winter boss is the most intimidating

I don't know exactly how old Stallord's corpse is, but that Spinner is pretty fucking impressive, being able to shatter spinal columns in 1 bump like that.
I remember this fuking temple when i was a kid, i get scared so much that i wait to my brother to pass me this, was spooky as hell for me in that times, o men the memories of this game

Figg Tree stallord is my favorite as well but argorok was fucking epic as hell I loved that fight so much especially getting to use the double clawshots cause the hookshot has always been my favorite item

The zant boss battle shoulda included a version of the stallord boss fight, zant's big head shooting energy balls at Link, and zant falling off every time Link strikes the big head with the spinner. That woulda been more epic

This was the funnest boss throughout my zelda childhood, my favorite
I can't get over how perfect the second part of the boss is handled. The arena is large enough where you know you're going up the pillar, but it feels more like you're chasing after a fleeing creature in stead of riding an elevator. The rails are aligned where you can avoid being hit but not loose the momentum or height unless timed incorrectly. This is one of my favorite boss fights in Twilight Princess!

I HATED it when those shadow guys kept blocking me. I found out you could hit them via sword. (But its pretty pointless cause they just come back)

When I had this game for Nintendo GameCube long time ago in 2008-2010. I replace the boss music on this level with the band cradle of Filth song named Gabriel. For some reason the song fit just right. I just played music over top of it that's all lol. I miss this game so much. Whoever has this game if it be for the Gamecube or the wii please enjoy the great old classics! :D

This game was a journey for me when I was little. I got stuck on the tutorial area (the village) for what I can only imagine was a year or two, maybe more.. because I didn’t read or something, Who knows. Then being too scared to complete THIS dungeon for the longest time. It felt so good to complete
I always wished I had gotten into the Zelda series before I had a phone or access to the internet so I could have a similar experience playing the game with no outside knowledge
I had a Dream that I was fighting the STALLORD and it was fun!

I love the suspense moment in the music when in the second faze you knock down stallords head, always pumped me up whenever it came
This boss is one of my favorites in the series. The spinner is so cool and this boss design with it was awesome.
The Volvagia/King dodongo theme is amazing, brought back many Memories

This boss was a nightmare for having spinning blades on the second phase as if timing your jump before stallords attack wasn’t difficult enough, I was like 10 or 11 when I fought him so maybe I’ll give it another go and see if it’s still difficult, but it sucks we never get another boss like stallord cause that second phase could be in a LOZ movie

Its wild as a three heart runner who speedruns bosses (not the game per se but I do try to beat the game quick) and beating bosses in like one or two combos, I remember when I used to have to combo three or four times like the average player. In a way I like having the skill, but it does subtract from the fun of the fights too.

Most fun and memorable boss in the game for me.
What you have to remember is that this is a high definition Gamecube game.

Please at least try the others I don't know if botw was your first but oot, majoras mask, wind waker, and twilight princess are so fucking incredible. As much as I love breath of the wild and botw is my favorite open world game the original zelda games are so incredible so so good

Hazey A Oh I was thinking the classic from the original Wii lol, I used the remote and nunchuck because i thought thats what you HAD to use.
+Sonef(x)StarlightPopGirl On the Wii U version I think you can only choose to use the Wii U pad thingy or the pro controller, but if you are using the original Wii disc you have to use the remote and nunchuck :) they like to make things confusing haha
Its weird that it takes 3 rounds to kill Stallord with the master sword when Diababa died in the first round by the Master Sword

Eeep Diababa was the first boss, kinda makes sense that it’d be easy, also you don’t fight it with the Master Sword.

thanks for this video, i'm currently stuck at this boss and the only thing keeping me from fighting it is anxiety. i have really bad emetophobia(fear of nausea/getting sick) and my dumb brain thinks that in the first stage it looks like stallord is getting sick. i'm watching this to tell my brain that nope, it's just fire, and that i can do this. i'm gonna try besting this guy tonight, hopefully i can do it :)
update: it gave me the worst panic attack of my life but i retried a few months later and i DID IT :D it's been a couple years since but WOOO YEAH
