It aggravates me soooooooo much . I won’t watch a video when they claim it’s a dupe just because it looks alike . No same ingredients nothing drives me insane especially skincare .

Yeah I keep seeing so many IG reels regarding dupes but the formulation between the "dupe" and the product they're duping is way too different to be considered one.
I really appreciate that you do not do the “dupe” thing that EVERY other TH-camr does, which most of the time they are not dupes lol. I appreciate your valuation of things that are similar, giving us a similar look for an easier price point. Thank you

Oh my gosh that Neutrogena serum foundation looks like it was made in sensitive skin heaven.
Edit: update. It's only been 4 days but I love this serum foundation. I have rosacea and react easily and so far so good. It definitely makes the skin look healthy like Amanda said.
There's really no one who gives better product reviews. I always feel like I understand exactly what the item is. Such a huge help, especially since I have to do all of my shopping online. You should be the highest sponsored/PR gifted beautytuber.
I'd love to see an updated affordable blushes. I am just loving blushes right now and can't get enough. So yes please! 🥰
For metallics that look heavy or textured in a bad way I suggest either wetting the shadow on the brush ( get it pretty wet like a liquid eyeshadow) or wet a clean brush and smooth it over the eyeshadow on your lids. I have to watch metallic shadows because they can make my lids look so crepey but I've found this will smooth and thin them out beautifully.
I love that little Revlon palette. I purchased and repurchased the orchid one for years and years. Lots of dimension IF you love purples. I really love your content Amanda. Thank you for making these videos.

The Loreal age perfect intense nutrition cream is an excellent substitute for the vitamin enriched face base. It's a very emollient cream and I wouldn't recommend it for oily or combo skin for sure. But it's great under makeup
What color is the container ? I can't find it only the night cream.
@@subboxjunkie8298 the box is like a brown color with honeycomb looking designs on it. Make sure to search Loreal age perfect hydra nutrition cream. Idk if you have a Kroger near you but I know mine carries it.

I know exactly the texture u mean with the flower beauty shadows BUT I’ve found a couple workarounds. I either use the smallest amount and reeeeeally spread it over the lid and then tap a little more in the direct center. If I’ve already applied and I feel like my lids look chunky, I spray my finger with fix plus and thin the shadow on my lid out. I think both flower beauty palettes are stunning but I do think there’s a bit of a learning curve.
The Flower Beauty highlighter I find it a little drying and much harder to blend. It just sits on top of my skin unlike the Charlotte Tilbury it sinks right in and set beautifully on the skin.
The L'oreal Age Perfect Hydra Nutrition Honey Day Cream is a great alternative for the Bobbi Brown face base. It is emollient and I find that it absorbs well.
Love the Face Base but that damn smell….toooo strong! I’ll look into the L’oréal one!
Never tried the Bobby Brown Face Base but I use Weleda Skin Food every day for my moisturizer and makeup prep. Very emollient. I live in MN so I need something bordering on oily. For those that want something similar try it. I tried it because Katie Jane Hughes recommended it!

I'd love a video or an opinion on light coverage foundations! I'm curious how this Neutrogena serum compares to products like L'oreal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum, which you mentioned in the previous video of the series, or maybe MAC Face&Body.
I bc was just thinking about the overuse of dupe! I just bought urban decay moo dust in Solistice and I was genuinely blown away. It looks so much nicer in my opinion on my life than colorpop super shock shadows. $22 vs 6 makes sense to me now lol

Next time you make an Etude House/Yesstyle order you MUST try the Keep My Brow. I have fairly bushy and unruly brows and this clear gel holds them in place better than anything I have ever tried. I am planning to wear it when I’m in labor!
I love hearing you talk about a neutrogena base product! I have used their hydro boos hydra tint for a while now and I think it’s my fav “foundation” ever. Right up there with MUFE reboot

Re: dropper bottles - I have the L'Oreal True Match Nude Serum Foundation which I really like, but the dropper was a mess. I was going to get a pump for it from Amazon, but instead I was able to pull the glass pipette off the L'Oreal top and it works fine that way. I just pour some out and use my fingers to apply.

The Etude House tints have existed forever though, if anything the Benetints duped them, since the stains in Korea have been a thing since the early 00s. Loved the Flower Beauty dupes tho!

Good grief, I never would have seen the resemblance with the mixed metals and the 52°. And I have both thanks to you, I own 3 of those palettes and they are not easy to come by in Canada. I also did a video with one of them, just cannot remember which 🤣 the Nivea cream is sooo nice . I WISH we could get flower beauty here without going to their website 😥 no neutrogena makeup here 😭. One last think, oh and I love Kaja, they have a few bentos with just shimmers , sigh! I need them all. Yes affordable blush video!!!! My HG is pixi sheer cheek gel. I always get compliments with the flushed color. I just recently tried the benetint and I love it!!!!!

I had the exACT opposite experience as you did with the cha cha tint! It wouldn't blend on me AT ALL and I found it very difficult to use- couldn't use a small enough amount for a natural effect. And I'm way darker than you!
We used to use a lanolin ointment for patients to prevent skin breakdown. It was thick and meant to be a barrier against wetness and not all patients could tolerate it. Can’t imagine putting that on a face no matter how dry your skin is.
The revlon fades sooo much. I’m not wearing eyeshadow just a couple hours after applying, but roen stays all day. Plus it’s so much more saturated.

I really wish I had found a review on that Flower Beauty eyeshadow palette which mentioned how it can enhanced unwanted texture! I have very dry eyelids, and this formula makes my skin look like alligator skin after a few hours of wear 😬 Gorgeous colors but not a flattering formula for me. I recently purchased the Roen 11:11 palette and am beyond excited for it!
Funny that I'm 43 and I have used that Revlon mixed metals cream four pan palette when I was in my twenties. It's a good formula for a one and done shadow look.

If people are looking for a dupe for the Bobby vitamin enriched facebase. You might want to try Weleda skinfood. It's got that thicker texture like BB does and it also has that lemon-y scent.
I missed out on the Bobby Brown face base back for the Ulta sale. I purchased the trial sized instead, and I really like it. Since it's so small and I'm trying to use it sparingly, I use it under my eyes as my moisturizer right before putting on concealer, and it's amazing.
I have to apply glitter primer and use my finger and pat shiny metallic shadows like dessert lights just like my Indy shadows. Looks beautiful on my 60 yr old eyes. Granted I took care for 30 yrs and have great genes.
the cream balmy highlighters u talked about remind me of the physicians formula cream highlighter !
Anyone who wants a not-cheap-but-way-cheaper alternative to the Bobbi Brown face primer should try Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. It's a lighter product, not as rich, but it basically does the same thing. Plumps the skin up and stays slightly tacky, so makeup both smooths over and grips to it. It also makes you look about 10 years younger lol. (I also use it as a face mask).
I use it because I'm allergic to shea butter. So I can't use the Bobbi Brown without............ well, hives. 🤮
I think a lot of the times people only dupe the color without taking into account the texture, wear time, and other aspects that make a product unique. It’s kinda annoying because I’ve bought things that were “dupes” and then purchased the originals and found they weren’t even comparable half the time lol
I like dropper bottles when they are done well. Unfortunately the ilia is not a good one....for the price It should be!! If Amanda says its a dupe....I literally immediately add it to my cart. I'm not sure if you have done a sunscreen video but if not I would love to see it from another dry skin gorl.
Wowowow I’m so excited to try that Neutragena tint. I’ve gone through at least 4 of the Ilia tints, so even if that’s not a total dupe, I’m curious to see if it’ll satisfy the same need. I’m also going to pick up those cute little etude house blushes!

I think the JCat Prismetal eyeshadows (although singles) are a super super close dupe of the Roen eyeshadows.

I'm late to this video. I just received a sample size of Laura Mercier's blush in the shade Provence from Sephora. On my pale skin, Provence (pinky brown) works as a bronzer. A sponge didn't work for me either. I found the best way to apply it is to blend with my fingers in a circular motion. I have to move quickly because it dries matte really fast. If you haven't decluttered Sundrenched, you might want to try applying it this way. I still have to try it with a brush and see how that works.

The revlon palettes are like a decade old. I used to have a jewel toned one.

I would loooove if they made a benetint gel formula, I'd love to use it on my lips but it takes off running in lip lines I didn't even know I had. The gel of the other colors is chefs kiss in texture. I think posie got discontinued and play is a new color.
I highly recommend that you try another color in the Laura Mercier blush. Two other creators I follow had not so great experiences with Sundrenched specifically but absolutely loved the other colors. They're so beautiful!

Hi Amanda. I have one blush. It’s a stick from Kiko Milano. I like it. At least I think I like it. But I don’t really know much about blush, such as if it should be matte or… whatever the alternatives are. Anyway, just sayin’ for a possible upcoming video. In my case, I have old, dry, cool toned (pink) skin, I think.

Yes the word dupe is used way too much. Especially with the rise of TikTok people just want views so without being actual dupes they just say that are. It drives me crazy
I completely relate omg. I feel protective over you all so I have to be like 'you guys I will BUY THIS to figure out if it isnt... but I can probably tell you it isn't.'.. I get so frustrated since for a long time I didnt have time/money to figure out alternatives and I felt I was taken advantage of for a long time. That's why I really want to open up the conversation with general comparisons so I can share the full range of my experience with both products. & if I hear that something is a good dupe I'm happy to try it first and throw my opinion out there as quickly as possible

I bought that revlon pallete in a neutral color story and it’s a bop it’s fine for what it is but not anything amazing.
NOPE, that Neutrogena looks patched on my skin shows all my imperfections however I have found the wet and wild tube in light looks amazing on my skin.
I get a ton of payoff from Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer blushes - especially when I blend it with a brush. I haven't tried blending it with a sponge
Soo i think a product pretty close to the Bobby brown face base is the honest deep hydration face cream :)

Some other creators had performance issues with the Sundrenched color specifically but loved the other colors. They're absolutely beautiful. It seems like there might be some difference with Sundrenched.
I know it doesn't say primer, but the Naturium Plant Ceramide Rich Moisture Cream might be similar to the Bobbi Brown Face Base. I wouldn't say it's 1 for 1, but it does kinda have a nice thick texture that makeup applies well over and also has shea butter. (Target sells a travel size too.)

Omg I hate that feeling when your skin just feels like product sitting on top of the skin not sinking in and hydrating, I get that with some moisturisers that don't hydrate just act like a barrier.
The fact that Bobbi Brown Left her company and started to clean beauty line... Makes me so suspicious of the Bobbi Brown line. I feel like that's so telling.

Not sure how glitter and satin can compare? I love the Revlon Illuminance, lasts all day, never creases. So fast/easy to use one or full contour. In my experience.

I think the extreme high shine formulas like the Flower desert rose pallette make my lids look too crepe-y. It's beautiful and I'm sure there are some that could pull it of beautifully but just not for me..
How long after you put on the Bobbi Brown Face Base before you start your makeup? Do you let it dry a little bit or just go straight to foundation?
Not a this or that but buy Bobbi Brown around the holidays . Bobbi brown has buy one get one . Ulta does a similar sale and they gave some Bobbi Brown products and two mini face bases and sephora has a double with 20% off .
