The first time I spoke in tongues was when I was praying for my parents marriage to be restored right in the middle of one of the biggest fights they had. I knew it was a special intercession because I felt so hopeless and like I had no words or ability to articulate what they needed. I just had enough faith to kneel right there in front of them and cry out to Jesus because I knew he was the only one who could do something. I couldn’t see the purpose in that season but in that moment when the Holy Spirit met me to intercede for them, I was able believe for a miracle but more so actually believe that He was with me. My parents went through separation for some time and during that time, my mom got saved and now by the grace of God , their marriage has been restored and my step dad accepted Jesus as his lord and savior.
Holy Spirit is living and active and he is a Helper, a counselor, our advocate , the Spirit of the Living God co-equal to the Father and the Son (trinity).
