For my 6th birthday, 10/1970, I was gifted with a portable phonograph & a box of my dad's old 45 rpm records. This song was a B-side that I discovered & it is still my favorite Elvis tune. My dad was a huge influence on my musical taste. I will soon mark the 20th anniversary of his passing by posting various YT videos of music he enjoyed. I also mark his birthdays in the same manner.

I believe this is from his movie King Creole. All the music from that movie was some of his best songs. His acting was so believable. It's such a shame Tom Parker scuttled his acting career because of greed.

Elvis was flown from Texas to Nashville for the session, and the plane had engine problems and almost lost power and fell out of the sky. Elvis was shaken up and only did about 5 takes before cutting the session short. Normally, there would be more than 20-30 takes, but he wasn't feeling it.
