If your going for your class A your vehicle has to be equipped with everything you want on your license. Even if you have a b with airbrakes that does not automatically go up with your a license.
License rules are done state to state. Massachusetts doesn't do 5th wheel restrictions but even if it did, you bring a pickup truck with a 5th wheel like I did then you wouldn't have that restriction. 👊💪
@@hotshotnewengland here in Maryland any hot shot testing requardless of 5th wheel or gooseneck, even tag trailers, will get a 5th wheel restriction. You must have a trailer king pin with a apron set up on a legit semi trailer
@@fritzduval gotcha. That's a 2 blade sword though, if they give you a 5th wheel restriction because your 5th wheel doesn't meet the requirements than that means you can drive your 5th wheel hotshot with that restricted license. Also, you can have a hotshot trailer that meets those requirements and not have that restriction.

IF YOU TEST WITH A HOT SHOT SET UP, YOUR SUPPOSE TO ALSO HAVE A 5TH WHEEL RESTRICTION ..
